Tata~
My first year of college life at ICSJ has finally come to an end (can be said so as I'm just waiting for my final starting from next Tues).
But, it doesn't mean break is just around the corner, waiting for me. In fact, my days will be more packed. And, maybe I can next time describe my life during semester break as taking "ROCKET"! >=) As I mentioned and kept on emphasizing, I will be rushing for the incomplete job of publicity (name tags, booklets, souvenirs, boards) during the few days after my final exams and going for an "adventurous" trip in the following week. Then, the day after returning from there, which is 4th May, I'll be starting my first semester of 2nd year. Cool leh? Don't envy me for having the energy to "play" throughout the 2 weeks of my so-called sem break because I'm young...Wahaha..
I'm aiming for 4As' for this semester though I realize it's hard to get another 2 As' for my stupid computer subjects (Excel and Word). They need me to score 35/40 in my final. It looks quite impossible. But, as KangKai said," Impossible--> I'm possible". Also, as Ms. Su said, "You need to assume yourself that you can do it, and you'll have the energy to do it". At least, she proves to me that I can still score in my MGT (took this sub in a super short sem-3 weeks) if I put my effort and never say to give up. Fuyoh, I also couldn't imagine I can do it but I did try! She also reminds us, saying "If Ms. Su can do, you also can do!"
So, friends, when you are unsure of your own ability, you just need to keep on telling yourself that you can do it. Sometimes, "lies" can be beneficial. Ha..No one knows your hidden ability. Who knows you can really succeed.
using my eyes to see the world, trying to use my heart to feel the world...

"Stepping into others' shoes"
2nd RS meeting(should be 3rd but i missed the first meeting)...
Today's meeting was fun maybe because we have known each other in the committee quite well and can joke together. After my class (8-10am,2-4pm), I went to the meeting place and waited for the meeting to start at 5pm till 7pm. Really exhausted!
As the head of publicity, I was asked to present my artwork, viz., name tag design, t-shirt design and the design of theme for booklet. President then asked me to explain. I was shocked and brain cell couldn't function for a while! Actually, still functioned quite fast because I asked each of the committee member to imagine and tell me what they could see from my design first instead of explaining at the second. ha..smart,yea? =P After passing through, I still finally needed to explain. Ha..Don't know what I was trying to say. I didn't know how to express my view. -.-" Then, president "rescued" me! He suggested to let him say about his feeling. Wow..Exactly the same like what I wanted to say. Ha.. Actually, quite obviously la, just others are lack of imagination. Wahaha..
The booklet was commented the best among other artworks. So happy to hear it... =) The president said very nice d. Ha..thx to my senior for his honest comments. Name tag was commented as good. Then, the t-shirt wasn't that good. I was thinking of happiness and kids while designing so I made it as simple and as "childish" as I could. The members had a little comments, just asking to add something. Reagen had the most comments maybe due to the theme contributed by him. He commented funnily, like "I prefer open wings.....,etc.." But, while I was jotting down, he concluded like that," Err.. Actually nothing la, you just follow yours. It's already good." *Fainted. -.-" Swt..
After the meeting, I only started to get real and useful comments from the president, 清蒸(don't laugh, I know you're laughing but his name is really pronounced like tht ma). =P
I stayed back for a while. He really did inspire me. He asked me to step into others' shoes when designing like to imagine how the kids will read the words on our t-shirt, what will be covered if the shirt is too long, and most importantly, the design! What type of impression will be given to people there for wearing t-shirt. We're college students. So, we should design based on our age. (means my design is quite childish -.-") turn a big round to describe childish. Ha..Actually, TianXin's nothing. She prefers honest comments. =)
Wa~..too much to write..late now. stop here. night!

First 19th RS training session
Though the training session was really long from 9.30am till 7.30pm (delayed from 5pm), I still feel that the time passed that fast because I still haven't mastered the dances. Luckily the dances are not of big action. We are actually dancing with hands using sign language. I like it!!! It's more meaningful! Haihz..my left hand is still that "cacat". Also, I learnt them very slowly. =(
Besides dancing session, we also had ice-breaking session which we played games together to get close with each other. I really somehow admire the motivational group leader who can act stupidly. Really stupidly!!! No exaggerating! He's really brave not to care for his image at all. Ha..
Claps to me for not being punished today for losing in games. Actually, I almost needed to use my butt to write letters like those losers. The first game was using another person's identity and act as him. I chose to be a guy named You Liang. When I was asked what's his degree of short shortsightedness by the group leader in front of everyone. I simply guessed and said 400 degree. But, surprisingly, the answer is 800 for one eye!! Wow! 400 already very high but unexpectedly he has that high degree. He helped me by giving me hint. I was caught by the chou group leader and almost became loser. But, when he asked the whole club whether they did see me cheating. Everyone said NO! ha..so, forcefully, I was free. hee.. Whew~
The seniors came back to guide and share experience with us today. They are quite old actually. Some are even 10 years older than us. They are strict but I think I will really learn much from them! Looking forward what will TianXin become when mixing with them. Of course, TianXin won't be like the motivational group leader who has no image. Hee..
Too much to describe and hope to share with my readers but really too long and if you don't experience, it would be like telling old time stories which would be very boring. Hee..so, my advice, if there's an opportunity for you to join such event, just go for it! It's indeed enjoyable though tough. But, you'll learn things for sure, like working as a team with discipline but still can joke together.

My last driving lesson..hopefully
"Hey, slow down your speed! You don't know how to control your speed a!", "Faster! Turn your sterling till the end!", "Aiya! You've forgotten what I taught you last time!"......
These are the sound pollution which keep on buzzing in my ears! Grr...Yea, yea, yea..I admit I'm not a potential driver. Honestly speaking, I don't even know how to fill petrol, start engine, etc.. But, please, TianXin needs some time!
Today was my last driving lesson. I drove to Bangi. And, as what I expected, sound pollution from him again!
When I reached there, my mind was empty. I couldn't complete all nicely. It was even worse than the first time I went there last three weeks before CNY and the PSC test!
Has my brain cell damaged?! I've poor memory in this semester. I couldn't really totally absorb what teacher has taught! Argh...Can I check my brain? Or, perhaps it's because of my own assumption which causes me to act like this? Not feeling stable nowadays.
I think I've too many to handle in this semester. 5 boring subjects in theory + club activities + struggling for "P" + maintain my grades to continue my scholarship
I can't stop in halfway! The only solution is to continue!
“重振勇气, 向死而生! ”
All the best!!! To be continued....
Day of test
FAILED!!!
-.-" failed the parking part!
will retake next tues!

Feelings on 21Jan09...
This early morning, Dad,Mom, Lu and I all went out together because Lu and I needed to go to school in morning while dad accompanied mom to settle things. In the way, mom checked her handphone and fond out a sms from Uncle (mom's brother), saying that another Uncle(grandma's 2nd brother) passed away in the midnight. O.O Shocked! Though I'm not close with the uncle as we only will meet during chinese new year or wedding dinner, I still feel sad for that. It reminds me how weak is life so we should value and spend our time doing meaningful things in order to avoid the feeling of regret in future. Also, never give up easily!
Chinese New Year is just around the corner but this makes me to feel afraid. This sem, I'm taking 5 subjects which I don't really like all except for accounting as all are theories. I need to learn how to operate Microsoft Word and Excel (-.-"); study the American politics; and also hear craps from Management lecturer(like Mr. Mic, really!). I also don't know whether I did concentrate in the class so far since the semester started 2 weeks ago, except for accounting which I did really pay full attention on it. Haihz.. I'm really afraid that I would not be able to score the requiring grade (3.0) to continue my scholarship! Also, I need to be active in at least 2 clubs, told by Mr.Amir months ago that it is a must to pass up a report regarding activities participated by scholarship holder. I didn't know about this till the end of my 2nd semester. So, this semester, I really need to "activate" myself! I haven't been a committee before but I know I could do well.
Today, I was asked to be the committee of STACT club. I'm looking forward to the activities because I was told that training will be given before doing community service. Ha..

A Fiasco in My Recent Life
I have never missed an “A” in my English paper in all of the official exams and also the first semester of my college studies. However, I’m going to see a “C” for my English subject in my results slip for the second semester of my college studies. It happened at the moment I sat for my English paper on 1st November 2008 at 5pm. Before 5pm, I still aimed an “A” for my English paper because my coursework marks shows there is a high possibility for me to score my English paper with flying colors. Teacher and classmates also believed that I could do so. But, when the clock stroked at 7pm, I finally announced to myself that it was a fiasco to me. It happened again! It’s still deep in my mind how the word – fiasco was introduced to me by Mr. Hew, my English tutor. He said, if one who has learnt English language for long period but fails to write his own essay, it is a fiasco to him. Since that, I put my effort on upgrading my English writing skills to prove that I have learnt from my mistake. Time passed by, my writing skills have been improved. I can write more fluently than last time. I even can complete my essay in a short time by typing it out, not writing with my own hand. I was really happy with my progress.
Unfortunately, as time goes, I started to rely on keyboard to help me to complete every piece of my essay. I had ignored the importance of writing essay with my own hand since I could easily produce a piece of essay which graded as “good” by my teacher. I didn’t realize something terrible was going to happen on me. I missed the hours of time for me to build up my relationship with my pen. I wasted the time in watching movie to relax my mind because I thought, since I could write fluently for last few months, I should be able to write well in my final exam for my English paper. The only thing I worried was I could not brainstorm.
It was 5pm, I entered the exam hall and chose a suitable seat, which I would not feel either too hot or cold. Then, I opened my question paper, I felt relaxed because it seemed still alright for me. I quickly started to write the introductory part for my first question. While I was writing, I felt happy because I could easily complete my introduction in 15minutes (better than what I expected). But, when I found that I could not write my thesis (no topic was given, just required to include 10points given). Without thesis, I could not continue my first body paragraph and second and third and even conclusion. In order to save time in thinking, I skipped to the 2nd question (5 choose 1). Again, I spent time in choosing topics. I couldn’t brainstorm. I became nervous and it was worse. So, I tried to skip back to the first and tried for my 1st body paragraph. I completed it. It’s 5.45pm. Oh my god! I had just completed 2 paragraphs in 45minutes, I still left 1.15hours. And, I was stuck again! I quickly skip back to 2nd question. I really couldn’t continue the question chosen by me just now so I changed and it took me another 15minutes. I just left 1hour to complete 2 essays. So, I decided to write; write to finish, to make it complete! I crapped indeed. No points! I clearly could feel the paper could produce sound, just as “Empty vessels make the most noise”. It could be considered good if I were taking standard 6. I nearly cried. My brain was empty, totally empty. Hopeless! I left 20 minutes to complete another essay. My brain was totally blank! I couldn’t write anymore.
“Tick, tick, tick…” The time passed. Teacher announced 5minutes left for us to complete. “Too bad, too sad!” , I used to say so. This time I really need to use it in this incident because it’s really hopeless for my essay. I still had 3 paragraphs to complete! I couldn’t think anymore! Couldn’t! Not a single word! It was my first time to become so frustrated when writing an essay. I did not understand why! Besides frustration, I had nothing staying in my mind. Finally, I passed up my paper and announced the 2nd fiasco in my English subject. Perhaps, It was a fiasco in my life too. Everyone was so happy because 7pm on that day announced the end of final exam and also the semester. For me, I could only announce a fiasco but nothing! They discussed, I thought! As usual, they asked me regarding the exam. I could only force to put a smile on my face and just shook my head. I told them. They couldn’t believe and though t I had worried too much, thought I was humble. Facing their reaction, I could only talk without words. On the way home, I kept on thinking what’s my problem and I was not willing to drop my valuable tears though I couldn’t stand it. I finally got an answer for that. The main reason is I have been used to write my essays using keyboard instead of my pen. Even at this moment, I’m still using keyboard. I’m sure without it, I really can’t write such a long diary with 1000words. I hope this could be the last writing for me using keyboard to produce my writings. Perhaps, when my English language is much more stable, I will try using this input device--- KEYBOARD again! My advice: “Always use the usual method you’re using unless you have ensured you can have the same performance when using both the new method and old method. It might be slow but as the saying goes, “Slow and steady win the race”.
