Settlement in Shanghai

Hi people, Tian Xin has finally arrived in Shanghai safely, meaning my "final exam" has ended at the moment mom left me this morning 8.30am.

Yup! It was expected!

Nagging, scolding, etc..

And, for me, FED UP -> BLURRED! @_@

I'm really fed up with the changing plans because of mom.

Fed up because the plans were the ones I proposed earlier but disapproved by her.

And, when we arrived in China, all the plans were carried out as she liked, just like what I proposed to her before!

FINE!

1st day in Shanghai, we visited Munchy's CEO, China Pavilion (Shanghai Expo), Shanghai Book City, Nanjing road...

The whole trip was by TAXI!!! -.-" Mom was accompanying me to settle down but we took taxi everywhere.How could I recognize the road? sigh..If it's Zhi, he'd surely accompany me to take bus everywhere so that I know the way! Following Mom is like travelling. This is not a real settlement!

Now, I'm being left alone to stay with the Shanghai family.

The Shanghai family is very ke qi. I guess Xia Xiang theories can be applied here very well.

They don't even let me to wash fruit plate!!! -.-" They keep on asking me nvr be ke qi. But, Tianxin's nvr keqi. I'm treating myself as at home, doing the house chores but they don't allow. -.-" Sigh..

Stressful "final paper"! (preparation to 2nd Journey to China)

Left 3 hours and I'll start a new life~

I wish it's a good beginning!

But, my feeling now is afraid, not excited.

The feeling is like sitting for final exam.

I'm feeling stressful now! I don't know why!

I guess it's because of MOM!

She's like the marker of the paper.

I'm like the student.

I need to do my "revision" by checking the details, like transport.

I need to prepare for the "essay" (planning for the whole trip to settlement in Shanghai).

As usual, I've no feeling until the last few hours, trying to ensure I miss nothing.

If mom nags, I fail.

I'm so scareddddd...

But, I should correct my attitude to previous time.

"When you've put your best, then you leave no regrets"

So, I've triple checked so many times. It should be ok!

Sad Valentine

It's really a sad valentine that really makes me emo for whole day but it's nothing related to love relationship. Tian Xin has no feeling towards any love relationship. Perhaps, I've fell in love to STACT this time just like I fell in love to SF1 that time. To reduce such strong missing feeling, I made myself busy by being active in club activities. Yeah~ I made it after half year joining STACT. Now, I guess I need Pivot's job to reduce same feeling towards STACT. I really miss STACT so much!

It has been exactly 2years since I really started my "clubbing" life. I met Waihong,Kiet,Jack,Reegent, Sherine, Yatlei, CK, etc. 2 years and 1 day ago (Valentine's eve,2009). Today, pictures were flashing in my mind. OMG! It's making me even sadder. Even worse, I was alone at mom's office, doing boring work. The feeling is so strong today towards every single friend that I have made thru STACT. Sometimes, I even doubt myself whether I'm able to keep myself out of STACT clubbing life when I'm back to INTI later.

10 more days left in Malaysia and I'll start my busy life at Pivot soon,hopefully. God bless me!

Non-stop Revision= lifelong mastering

Stupid TianXin!

She always stops her revision after exam.

She always scolds herself for mastering nothing.

She always blames it's because of her poor memory.

She envies people who can apply knowledge practically.

She feels guilty, sad, worried, disappointed, afraid, regretful, etc.

But, she does nothing!

Today, when she woke up, something just knocked into her mind!

She asked herself,"What do I don't know? What can I do?"

She recalled back that she used to plan her holiday nicely with learning of vocabs, at least.

But, after joining STACT, she didn't do that anymore because STACT had occupied her holiday.

She suddenly forgot what can she do during holiday.

No exam revisions needed, no study revision, no reports, no gatherings...

But, there's a need for lifelong learning.

She listed down what knowledge she has forgotten but important.

And, she prepares to do KNOWLEDGE REVISION...

She'll study back all the notes for econs, marketing....

F.E.A.R..

This is the 3rd week I get back to Malaysia. Counting down to 22 days to go back China alone again..OMG! I don't feel any excitement now when I think of staying with the Shanghai family alone, travelling to and fro alone, .... I'm afraid..

Tian xin will become afraid also. What I'm afraid is I might not be able to have any achievement during the internship. I'm afraid history will repeat and at the end, it's a waste. So negative now.

Sometimes, I feel that I'm losing myself. I don't know who I am, especially during this retirement period, waiting period, ..No clubmates, no classmates..Mom keeps on nagging. I'm really blurred all the time. I don't know what can I do.

Back to M'sia...

Finally~ I'm back to M'sia, my HOME!

But, after I got the news that Weiling couldn't make it for the internship, I got disappointed and not tht excited to come back M'sia. =( When I missed M'sia badly,I always imagined that I'd be jumping here and there around my room like a kid excitedly. I loved the SUN so much...But, but,...everything is out of my expectation now...

Unhappy things start after Hong and me got out of the gate. I wish I could stay back.

Mom scolded me all the way back because of the delay and my plan to Kajang. =( I just planned to take my key and didn't want to trouble her. I know she would leave NO TIME for me also. So, instead of staying at home, I could actually take my key, meet with them and enjoyed my room!

She always scolds me for giving away my time to others. I also feel guilty and yesterday I thought of the reason why I always reserve time to others. Nah..I got it! It's because everyone has plans for me and I arrange my time for them. But, mom never leaves time for me. If she does say she will wish to have me with her, I'm sure I'll arrange my time for her also!

ok..back to topic...

Now, I'm in M'sia.

Hot, noisy, dirty, dangerous, ....I would say!

I'm not that excited to meet up STACT people anymore! What a sad case! Perhaps, it's because I don't know them anymore.Everything has changed! Kiet, Chen, QQ, and King have gone! My clubbing task has gone! I've no class at INTI!

This is my feeling now. But, I know it's actually not that serious yet I'm no longer that excited anymore for meet-ups because things have changed..

Now is 3.01am, 19th Jan 11..4 more hrs and I have to depart from Suzhou. Here is a short summary of my DAYS in China.

Study life

Enrolled 2 subjects. E-business lecturer speaks like Jay Chow. International lecturer has taught us something out of textbook, meaning exam is never from textbook too @_@.

Classmates are nice. Groupmates are...PRO!why? because 3 weeks before submission they only started to discuss abt assignment; 1 night before submission only told me the whole assignment needed to be reorganized even though I'd compiled and sent her 1 week ago..@_@...

Clubbing life

Joined 2 clubs, Student Career Development Association (SCDA) & Green Society. SCDA, disappointed with its system yet I'm kinda glad to know some of them. I felt demotivated after few tasks because of the system and leaders. I was offered to go Shanghai due to my good results of my 2nd task. Green Society, I had only 1 activity -.-" I thought I would be active soon and paid RMB 10. But, still, here is China..中国什么都不多，就是人多。

Friends known in China

Although I'm not always in a group gang, I have different "varieties" of friends. I've yr1 to yr 4 friends; I have lecturers as friends; I have friends from neighbor university. My closest friend and best meal partner, Carissa. My best local friend, Chen Huan. Best helper, Mengfan. Best computer technician, Xiongwei. Lovely buddy, Wangwei. My funny and cute housemates, the 4 girls. My M'sian supporters, Mr.Ng and his wife who cooked dinner for me and helped me whenever I need help. My uni's M'sian lecturer who stays at Sri Petaling also.

Besides these, I also got to know others who can hardly believe. haha..I know Weiling, a Singaporean friend who supposedly would come to Shanghai for the intern and be my roommate. Joel, Pivot intern. Lawrence, previous intern known from fb. Leo, my "big brother" in Shanghai, also my landlord.

Geng bu geng? ^.^ not deep yet wide..

Living

Food: Rice, rice ,rice...flour, flour, flour...oil, oil, oil...Addicted, Hated, Liked..

Stay: Hotel-> a HOUSE ( I thought we'd be staying like a family but...nope)But, it's kinda nice to stay with them too. We had a farewell steamboat(hahaha..see tianxin, see steamboat ;P) and chatted a lot..APARTMENT's SECRET..shh.. ;)

Most memorable moment: 4D3N Christmas in Nanjing and Changzhou.

Favorite food: Kebab rice and Korean's beef rice

唤醒了一种很熟悉的感觉.

我曾经很简单地拥有了那种感觉。

那种看到大家因为自己而微笑的感觉。

就是这种感觉，

我希望成为一位志愿者，

Today, I got an e-mail reply showing me a great opportunity to have internship at a multinational company. It's a French based event company in Shanghai which has branches in China and U.S. as well.

It's really hard to capture the best, especially there are many opportunities provided! sometimes you're allowed to be greedy, sometimes not. In my case,I think I'm allowed. The question now is:"Is it necessary for me to be greedy?" What I meant as necessary is whether it's necessary to burden my parents for this opportunity. The allowance offered is RMB 1000 but accommodation in Shanghai for a sharing bedroom is ard RMB 1000. I've always let go opportunities because I don't want my parents waste much on me. (lack of confidence) But, I'm really thankful to have a mom who always pushes me to the opportunities.

Now, I think and consider again what if I'm offered with more allowance than the Singaporean company? Everyone will ask me to go for sure. But, listening to my heart, will I be as happy and excited working at the large French company with so many branches abroad as working at the small Singaporean company which has no branch? NO! the answer is a NO!

I suddenly realize that now, I will listen to my heart to decide what is good to me and what pathway do I want. =)

My personal consultants who I always take their advices, QQ and Kiet, strongly recommended me to kill one bird with two stones, sharpening skills at the Singaporean company and exploring the system and culture of a large multinational company! But, finally, I chose not to be greedy, but just to be myself!

"What do you want?" is a question you need to ask yourself time to time. Listening to your heart sometimes is better than listening to the world...

Taobao...online shopping..in China!

Taobao 淘宝..

Living in China, you need to know about Taobao, the place where the Chinese shop virtually. This is one of the interview questions when I applied for internship in Shanghai. But, usually, I visit Taobao for free movies only. The things in Taobao are really attractive and most importantly, they are really cheap!!! But, I still feel unsecured to shop online.

Yesterday, I was introducing CK yi fu this website of search for his tripod, planning to buy him as a gift to replace the STACT memories I "deleted" by losing his harddisk. =(

Because of him, I registered for a Taobao account, my first online shopping account!

I think I'll rely on taobao when I get used to it. Haha..this is the new era, and even Tianxin will change.

Shopping in China, you need 2 quotes and find a balance between these 2 quotes.

Production cost in China is cheap so, reasonably, the products are cheap.

Recently, I found that such bag really exist, 3 in 1(3 types of carrying style): carry like bagpack,sling bag, and handbag! cool man! And, I bought one at RMB70.

I got attracted with one at Taobao! I'm sure Zhi will love it as well! I also love it!!! Sibling bag?? haha..

Summary of Year 2010, regrets?...

Today is 1.1.11. Happy New Year!

It's another year again! Now let's rewind my life back to the year 2010..Happiness, disappointments, sadness, stupidness, and more I had in year 2010...Not to forget failures and proud moments I had, in M'sia, not China...

To have this post showing my milestone is an inspiration from my brother's blog. It's good to spend some time sitting calmly and refreshing back what have you gone through for the whole year. Here is the pathway that I've gone through in last year, divided into 3 different semesters:

1. January- April: my Philo sem when I start to have this nickname- Philo Lee (actually named by myself ^.^)

I experienced a very different kind of teaching style from Mr. Eric.

I was full with passion in swallowing the textbook and burning midnight oils to make my assignments perfect!

While everyone was advising me to stop spending time in my video production, I did not! And, at the end, we got the highest marks! =) Proud 1~ proud of my passion, not marks..

I got scolded by Ms. Lim in front of the whole class harshly because of my "special" answer for the question "Are we the prisoners of the culture?" Everyone was answering YES while I gave a NO.

I did not feel sad, in contrast, I worked hard to improve myself. And, at the end of the semester, I got praise from Ms. Lim for improving a lot! Proud 2

But, there were also sadness and disappointments.

Due to the side effect of Philosophy and my roles in STACT Club as Vice Chair and Program Coordinator, I questioned a lot and caused many people to be pissed off! Trying to be a thinker like Plato huh, Tian Xin? It all came to an end when my brother told me," It's good to ask but before asking, ask why do you ask the question?" SORRY GUYS! Failure 1

And, my grandma left us...

2. April - Aug: Peak of my life?

I had many of my first times in my life which I never thought of it before.

I became the Internal VP of 21st Community Service because Jack insisted to have the 21st CS!

I took over the role as a Discipline Master and failed badly in playing it nicely! 3A- Action, Attitude, Appearance -.-" Thinking back now, I feel funny!

I acted as counselor of the juniors in encouraging them to take challenges. haha..(a junior even said I'm her idol)

I cried in front of my clubmates for first time, the night before starting the adventure of 21st CS.

I gave a speech during the camp closing ceremony.

I scolded people for the real first time, not because of my frustration, I swear!

I became numb on feelings, comforting others in facing stress! -.-"

I got hated by people! (but, all misunderstandings were clear by themselves after everything came to an end.It was just an emotion)

I did influence on people. ^.^

My sharing got appreciated. =)

So, at the end, I actually want to thank Jack for insisting it!

21st CS BIG FAMILY!

I had the most enjoying trip in my life ever with them! Perhaps it was because of not sleeping the day before to rush work with mom. Played crazily! Wee~~

As many were leaving, Ah chen & King to UK, QQ and Kiet to US, and me to China, we had a few trips.

First is known as the short sem trip. (Movie at Sunway Pyramid, Games at Cassian Kitchen, Pasar Malam at Connaught, visiting Lookup point, conquering Broga Hill, and lastly having dim sum as breakfast at Connaught)

Second- just back from 21st CS and to Bukit Merah for waterpark..I guess 3 days before departing to China..Mom was gonna KILL me XD

3. Sept - Dec: Journey in China

A rush prepare to start my 4 months' journey in China. I didn't event get a chance to calm myself down to think and prepare for this trip. But, I couldn't say it's wasted. I would just say I did not do my best here!

I joined clubs: Green Society and Student Career Development Association. But, I was kinda disappointed on the system and the people.SO SAD..Sigh

I thought I could mix with my Indonesian housemates. But, nope. We have age gap!!! -.-" haha..actually, it should be communication gap. But, I'm glad to stay with them also. =)

My classmates? Nope..I even got frustrated in their attitude of doing assignments!

I got a close, really close friend! It was really surprising because we were from different university. Our first meet was at Jinji Lake when the seniors brought the juniors for a visit at Jinji Lake.

Still, my male friends are more than female friends. -.-" Whenever I got gifts from them, the little girls would think much! I just got a birthday gift and 2 Christmas gifts. that's all!

I SLACKED ON my life! But, I also GOT A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE in life!

I MISSED my family, STACT Club, friendss..missing badly!

I felt SORRY to mom for not utilizing this opportunity well! But, I realize this guilty feeling will only worsen my remaining days here. So, I stopped!

I started to get excited with photography! haha..

I got an INTERNSHIP in Shanghai because of my corrected attitude! >=) I have finally chosen a route I want!

I had a few trips in China

1. Shanghai Expo with Kai Jia & Meng Fan

2. Han San Shi & Hu Qiu with Zheng Yi

3. Xi Tang by myself

4. Nanjing and Changzhou with Chen Huan

I experienced the FIRST SNOW and became sick! I dared not to take any risks of getting sick anymore and so I cancelled my Christmas trip to Nanjing. But, at the end, I was enlightened! haha.."Life is full of risks. So, why should we be afraid of taking risks?" And, I enjoyed my trip at Nanjing! A memorable Christmas trip, visiting universities in Nanjing, travelling tourist spots by myself, visiting Fu Zi Miao, sleeping at McD on Christmas eve, having Christmas dinners, and laughing at the jokes by his relatives on Christmas Day at KTV~

Since I got "enlightened", my days are exciting everyday, maybe because I'm going back to M'sia too!

My new year eve was special as well with so many sudden plans!

11am: I got a phone call to attend a BBQ party with my club

4pm: I went to Carissa's house for Tomyam "steamboat"

7pm: We went to Times Square out of sudden! Visited Secret Recipe and recalled that it's actually a M'sian restaurant! Taken a lot of photos! haha..

10pm: We went back and watched 3 Idiots from year 2010 to 2011! haha!

Then, it came to the end of year 2010! Regrets? Yup, perhaps! But, let's make a better year in 2011!

HAPPY 2011 YEAR!

First trip by self- to Xi Tang, Eastern Venice

Before the trip, I was very excited preparing and planning! I even spent time looking for a tripod to allow me to take photos of myself since I planned to go ALONE! One day before, I was so excited and was looking at photos taken by Zhi. I slept at 3am to finish up my cover letter for internship application an set alarm to wake up at 5am as I planned to capture some morning photos.

Zzz..I woke up at 8am as my clock showed! I was considering whether I should continue with my plan because I would reach there at noon. I heard Zhi's voice, "Not accepted as excuse!" So, I decided to wake up! And, by the time I got ready, I only realized it was just 7.30am, meaning I saw wrong time. Luckily, I did not give up my trip! Happy ..

Then, here, my journey started at bus station, to train station, the opposite way! Then, thanks to the people, I got my right way, from train station then to bus station, and finally reached Xi Tang after 2.30 hours. It was stupid to make such mistakes because Zhi had warned me, I had done research but wrong info I got, and Zhi had even made marks on the map! STUPID 1

But, I finally got my way and reached Xi Tang SAFELY! Yay! So, I took a photo in front of the entrance using my new tripod to show my success! haha XD

Xi Tang is a nice place to take photos because with my lame photography skills, the photos taken by me could be so nice! There are many motels, restaurants, pubs, and small shops selling souvenirs. There are 2 streets which one with many dogs, and another with many cats! The residents own them as pets! Oh, by the way, Xi Tang is actually a village, a water village with villagers staying there so I could actually get free entrance if I dared to explore ALONE by walking through sideways! The food is normal! The food specialties are steamed fish, "chou toufu", beans, dumplings and some "kuih".

Honestly speaking, Xi Tang is out of my imagination, below of my expectation. It was not as big as I imagined. I kept on repeating the spots. I had walked for about 3 times not because I wanted to repeat the places so that I could notice better scene but it was due to TianXin's poor sense of direction! I couldn't recognize which way I was heading to because there are many corridors, and places that look similar. But, now worry, Tian Xin was still able to find way back by tracking back the route I used although it might have other shortcuts.At first, I planned to stay till 5pm so that I could take some photos during sunset but I was bored of keep on repeating the spots. So, I decided to leave at 4pm.

And here, sad case happened! The time I arrived at bus station, the last bus just started to depart, which meant I could actually stop it easily!!! But, I didn't because I remembered from the websites, it is shown that the last bus should be 6.30pm! STUPID 2 for not buying ticket when first arrived! Besides this, I could actually catch up the bus if I didn't purposely ignore the guy asking where I planned to go! Because I was ALONE, so I dared not to speak to anyone. As you know, there will be many people trying to con you , especially at tourist spots and also especially here in China.

When I reached counter, the girl told me I just missed the last bus 1minute ago and there was no way to go back! The guy followed me to the counter and offered to send me back at RMB 180! At first, I was considering to stay one night but I was afraid it would be dangerous as Xi tang has a lot of bars as well and I have no sense of direction! Also, I did not do sufficient homework on accommodation so I didn't know which one is CLEAN! I felt like crying!!! The main reason was not due to no transport to go back but was due to my STUPIDITY!

Finally, after negotiating with the guy, he promised to send me directly back to my apartment at RMB 150. It was 4.30pm, and the journey took us 1 hour. I felt quite sorry to him as China people had their dinner early around 5pm. His wife even called him during the journey to ask why he was not back yet for dinner. It was really a long, long journey..We reached at 5.30pm and then, he needed to spend another 1 hr to get back!

STUPID MISTAKES and MISSING the CHANCE GIVEN at the ONE MINUTE, I caused so many troubles!

Really felt like banging wall! But after having chat with QQ & Yong Lee, I can now accept it as part of my life and it doesn't matter to tell my family about it anymore even they will surely nag me! because it was seriously dangerous to take private taxi by a guy for 1 hr journey! You can't imagine what will happen!

LUCKY me, I arrived SAFELY but SADLY!

To describe my "unfortunate" incident, Yong lee's quote suits best,"自找的，活该！"

To conclude, this Xi Tang trip could be described with these words

It has been nearly 3months since I arrive in China. Honestly speaking, life during these few months were nothing to me. It has no much meaning to me compared to my busy life in M'sia, mainly because I used to think that only busyness defines how meaningful one life is. What I refer busyness is having many things to deal, like joining a big group of friends to work together, having club meetings, etc.. I was busy till the extend that I was afraid that I'd miss out anything everyday. So, my calendar was full with tasks to do, my file was full with sticky notes, and even my handphone showed reminders. Everyday looking at those tasks awaiting me, I felt my life was meaningful. Till now, I still miss those moments.

When I first arrived, I used to tell myself and my friends how nice is here, how aggressive people are here, and it'll be a really great eye-opener for me. I'd tell them I got selected by the Student Career Development Association and I need to deal with companies, etc.. This sounds like I'll really be active and sociable, and BUSY. But, now, I want to say:" It's not really like that actually, here is still Asia." Nothing much different. I'm the one who planned outings. I'm the one asking to play sports. -.-"

Here, life in China was not as busy as that, sometimes even making me to feel depressed because I have only 6hrs' class per week while others have full schedule. I join clubs but the clubs are not as active as STACT Club. I planned for trips but every weekend, there must have something stopping me, like club tasks which required you to face your laptop for hours, house moving, assignments, midterm, etc.. Nah..These are all excuses, you surely think and I do not deny. I really hated myself for having so much time but doing nothing much (means NOT BUSY= NO MEANING)!

Nooo....This period in China has actually slowed down my pace and allowed me to think. I suddenly understand what Chen always says "Understand yourself". Now, it doesn't matter anymore whether I can mix around with the people there, as long as I've tried. Tian Xin is trying to figure out more things, exploring more things...

Since now, every day in China will be meaningful to me as long as I know what I am doing and why I am doing..Let's redefine my life again..

End of my STACT Club life...

My journey in STACT Club has finally come to an end after my last project- the 21st Community Service Project. It was really a tough one with so many challenges given the clashing class schedule, members quitting, conflicts occurring among members, local people not supporting, etc.. Everyone was so stressed and got pissed off easily with any changes. For my last project in STACT, I tried everything at one time that you couldn't imagine, e.g., taking up the role of DISCIPLINE MASTER, giving speech on a closing ceremony, scolding people, and even being hated. Nah..all these are actually unimportant.

The most meaningful part for me is the changes by every single member throughout the period, from joining as new members, attending trainings, and till enjoying themselves very much during the campfire. As I said, it was tough so at first I greatly disagreed on having this project. Yet, at the moment I said "OK!", I told myself no matter what happened, I'd be there as a supporting role. Because of this concept, I was allowing things to go easily and I became afraid when things were going too easily that members might not learn anything and really enjoy the true CS. The spirit was not there as well, especially when members were quiting one by one. I did not know how to support anymore yet I was pretending to support by comforting them and making promises which I didn't know how many promises had I kept. sorry, guys..

As time passed, the only fear I felt was not members quitting but members giving up since I strongly believed that "no problems can't be solved". One week before the CS, from 30members, it dropped till 22 members. One by one, I called and talked. for those who couldn't make it, I just felt sorry to them. But some who couldn't pass their own obstacles, I felt sad because it was just one more step to announce success. However, while convincing these people, they reminded me," Is it only considered success for us to go through that 7days?" To Tian Xin, it was a "Yes!". But after this, I will answer, "It depends."

I really got inspired by seniors and juniors.

At the end of the 21st CS, I was glad that many improved in attitude aspects or skills, like Adrian who didn't like dancing last time, Sou Eei who talked very softly last time, Penny who had no patience, etc.. And during this CS, Adrian encouraged the students of his group to dance , Sou Eei became the MC of our last event, and Penny who became patient even though she needed to take 2 MC roles.

I'm really glad to announce a SUCCESS of this 21st COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT. As Tian Xin always says, "CS is really magical as it brings us laughters and cries when being touched by everyone's growth,change and improvement."

22ppl was nvr a worry for me to make this 21st CS a success because I know we'd have 100% support frm everyone!

p/s: Before ending,there's a sentence I would never forget. A sentence which was spoken by the Maintenance Group Leader to comfort everyone one night before departing to PEKAN NANAS:

" No worry! I promise everything will be packed nicely by 6pm!" A simple sentence, a simple promise but did a great impact to the whole team!

After struggling for 2 weeks, she's finally physically gone but I believe she's still with us in our heart. I felt sad when seeing my uncles and aunties cried. I really hoped to walk to them and comfort them, telling them that Tai Ma has not gone; if they miss her, just say hello in heart because she's in our heart. Was her life meaningful? Yes, it should be as her presence brought 40 over of us together in this one big family.

What?! Again?! Another 1 mark is deducted because of wrong font size! Weird..Last test was the same too and I swear I did triple-check for the font size! Softcopy shows TNR 12 but hardcopy shows TNR 11. What a joke! A speechless joke! Fine..

Perhaps, Mr. Eric just thinks that I got too much for my test! yay yay! I got another 41/50 for my Philo Test 2! But, I don’t think I deserve it this time because my argument was not strong enough actually and I took a risky way by disobeying the instructions. The question required me to state 3 strengths and 2 weaknesses of my chosen debater but I did 3 weaknesses and 2 strengths. I didn’t mean to be rebellious but I really couldn’t find his strength anymore so finally I made such decision 1 day before handling the bring-home test.

So far, I seem like handling well in my results, except for Anthropology which I’m having average stand now. It really looks like I did very well in balancing both club activities and studies. But, honestly speaking, I still feel like I’m in my first few weeks of semester because I couldn’t remember anything which I have studied. I’m currently studying to pass. What a pity case =( But, my hard disk is really full and infected by virus.
Never mind, as Tian Xin always says, “Do the best and never regret!”.
Aiming for at least a B for Anthro, a B+ for Philo and an A- for both Macro and Retailing…

You would say insane! You could see sky as BLUE, undoubtedly!

But, have you ever thought why people would say sky is GREEN?

You shouldn’t make conclusion without thinking WHY!

Figure out, WHY?

They might be color-blinded. Hence, it’s true that sky is GREEN to them!

Or, there are other reasons.

Be calm to find out the reasons and you learn to step into others’ shoes.

Philo sem

Hi readers, it has been months for not updating due to busy life with club activities.
This semester is really a unique one for me. I'm taking Anthropology, Philosophy, Macroeconomics, Retailing, and stupid Moral subject. I really like Philosophy much! Next is Anthropology. Both these lecturers really teach me but they are tough lecturers too.

Let's talk about my favorite lecturer- Mr. Eric who is a funny guy whic most students dislike. You know why? It's because he marks and deducts students' grammar mistakes. At first, you won't think he's linean but you will find out he's really willing to help students but just in different ways. His way prepares us in a harsh society next time. Tell you. I'm really happy to score the highest in my Test 1(bring-home test), 41/50. 2 marks were deducted by him because of funny reasons. For me, I wouldn't feel angry but just funny. He deducted 1 mark because I didn't follow the format he asked us to follow. Without knowing why and how, fonts in last page are Times New Roman,size 11 instead of size 12. Who on earth would figure out this? Haha..He showed me the difference. Swt -.-
Next, another is also my careless mistake which I didn't include some required part.
Being lecturer by him makes me feel like I'm really experiencing university life. For bring-home Test 1, we were asked to play a game and answered question. In test 2, we needed to listen 2 hrs debating on the topic: Does God exist? Haha..It's really challenging to hear to native English debaters.
In class, we were shown with videos. And, don't try to be funny. These videos would come out in exams. Wall-E did come out in my mid-term. haha..
I hope to have more classes of him. I hope I won't disappoint him like in my mid-term which scores only 33/50.

Next is my Antropology lecturer who will look strict but actually same as Mr. Eric. She's good yet harsh. =) First in-class tutorial question, I was being lectured by her harshly in front of the whole class. She kept on asking me to think why and how. I couldn't answer. Everyone was trying to comfort me when the lecture by her was end. But, I felt happy. She is not a simple lecturer. This motivates me to study. Unfortunately, I did not do well in my mid-term also as that week was my event.

This semester is considered as my philo sem. I keep on thinking Y. This contradicts with people's views nowadays. They just think I'm annoying. I don't do it just because I like. I just want to know WHY.

5th Sem Results Out!

Ms. Maz, the one who you can't rely on her information, told us one day before the results out that results would be released on 30th November!
Hm!
Luckily, LiXia posted on facebook so that Angie noted it when checking her Facebook finally at Alicia's house at Ipoh on the second day of our Ipoh Trip.
Fine! We took turns to check. First, congrats to Thuyen who finally got GPA 3.0 with the power of love from Angie~ hee..Also, to Angie who got full A's. For me, I did improve but not that surprising to see my results- Psy101 (A) & MKT 301 (B+). In fact, I really aimed for at least an A- for sales management. But, even Liya also got the same as me, so, this can conclude that Ms. Putri really marked strictly in final.

I'll be taking 5 subjects next sem: ENG260,ECN222,MPW,PHL & to be confirmed. ^.^

Hopefully, I could score at least GPA 3.5 also in my next long sem! =)

My 5th semester studying at INTI just ended 5 hours ago when the clock stroke at 7pm, indicating my last paper for final ended! Psychology was my last paper. Due to short semester (7 weeks), I took 2 subjects- Sales Management & Psychology! I really studied hard this semester for my Psychology and tried to study in my Sales Management (too boring this subject =/ ). Glad to say that I finally scored 50/60 for my both coursework marks, showing a possibility for me to get 2 As', or even 4.0 if I really put more effort because both lecturers are quite lenient when marking our assignments and test papers. =)

As I promised to myself last semester, I'll improve in this semester. I can't wait to show mom that I really learnt my mistakes last semester in handling my work and show my brother that we should learn from mistakes. His results are deteriorating seriously but he still shows no guilt.

Time to plan for my real future ~

having approach-avoidance conflict now whether I should follow mom's words to take International business. I'm not sure whether I really will choose business as my final career in my life. I'm planning to major in psy field as what I thought last time. Perhaps, educational psychology~ =)

Being invited daysss...

First, I was being invited to Carol's church belated celebration of Mooncake Festival on Saturday. It was a surprise when I received Anson's call to invite me to their church for belated celebration of Mooncake Festival. I really hope to go but final is coming and due to transportation problem to SETAPAK. Haha..fine..

Then, around 5pm, I received a sms informing that Serena's mom had just passed away. ='(
Though there's no invitation, of course, we as her friends will pay a visit to her, propably on Sunday. I belive Serena will have no problem to deal with it. She's tough! Good Luck, Serena!

At night, while studying at grandma's house, Jason Yi Mu called up to invite me to join their trip to "Jiu Wang Ye" temple at Ampang. Jason really has the power of persuassion. Though obviously I'm not interested in going temple especially in the late night, I was still convinced by him to try to ask for permission from mom. Mom discouraged me to go.

And, I skipped uncle's wedding dinner invitation on Sunday. Sienz...Better to study =P

A Lucky Day

Is this considered lucky?! haha..

Let me start the story of today, 22nd Oct 2009!

As assigned, I acted as waitress today in our sales management presentation. This is the most special presentation I have as we needed to seriously play the role of sales people to persuade our lecturer, Ms. Putri (acted as customer) to purchase our product/service. It was a group of five, i.e., Tuan Tynn, Sai Yung, Liya, Tracy and me. Being with a group with Tuan Tynn is undoubtedly that we can experience the process of doing a group assignment. We went through the first stage of brainstorming to select an idea, combining ideas, dividing work, and lastly, we even rehearsed. The division of job was clear as everyone knew what to do. And, we also helped out each other. Honestly speaking, I contributed the least for this assignment. Sai Yung led the group, Tuan Tynn partnered with Sai Yung to approach our prospect(Ms.Putri), Liya did the paperwork, Tracy and I were in-charge of video production.

One week before our presentation day, we also discussed the roles to play. Tracy and I were the waitresses and in-charge of food and beverage. Now I know how tiring it is as a waitress. During rehearsal, we discussed the pattern of walking, the way we should greet, the arrangement of venue(how many chairs & tables), backup plan etc..It was really a full rehearsal.

Our presentation day which was today had finally reached. Our appointment with Ms.Putri was 11am, we even assigned Liya to chat with Ms.Putri in waiting room while we were settling our stuffs. Unfortunately, there was a class going on in our class. We couldn't prepare the venue and they ended late when Ms.Putri had reached. Finally, we were able to enter the class and quickly we arranged the tables, settled the food and beverage (coffee and tea), "PA system", projector, cups and other stuffs. Music was played, just like dining in a restaurant in hotel.

Ms. Puri was away after waiting for so long for the previous class to end. So, she went back to her office and waited. Tuan Tynn as marketing executive, called her and asked her whereabout, telling her that Liya (the marketing manager) would lead her to the venue. Oooo...looked real~ I was standing there, preparing to open the door to welcome them. Everyone was so nervous that time, same to me because when there were people walked by, I would give wrong hint to others that our customers had arrived. Swt... =.="

Our customers had reached. Once they sat down, our marketing executives (S.Yung & Tynn) greeted them and waitress served coffee and light food. Everything was on plan! Yay! But, thanks to INTI's water dispenser which provided water that wasn't that hot, causing the creamer couldn't melt in the coffee when they used "Hotel Equatorial's creamer in packet" !!! But, the presentation had started. So, Tracy and I couldn't help out because it would be interrupting them. We could only changed their coffee when presentation ended and it was time for SaiYung to persuade.

After ending, we chit-chatted with our customers for feedbacks. It was commented good with our effort spent in pretending as customers to "steal" information from Hotel Equatorial (we were representing it and persuading our lecturer to choose it), printing name cards for our "marketing executives", preparing coffee & tea, wearing waitress uniform (Tracy & I), and others. It created a good experience for them! Yay!

Then, we went to celebrate at Kim Gary Restaurant at Sunway Pyramid! And, here, I found a piece of broken glass in my pudding! At first, I thought it was ice.But, sounded weird. haha..Luckily the pudding wasn't that nice so I was playing with the pudding by cutting off into pieces before entering the pudding into my mouth. On the other hand, I didn't just refuse to finish off as STACT taught us "not to waste food", if not, I wouldn't notice the glass and I wouldn't get free meal. So, conclusion is "There's SOMETHING as a free lunch" if you got "UFO" in your meal. Haha..At first, the waiter who we told acted very normal, just like it's common to them already. SaiYung then wrote in their feedback form. She wrote: " I nearly died because of the piece of broken glass in my pudding if I didn't notice! And, when we told the waiter. He acted so normally and didn't even apologize. ...."

After a while, the waiter came and said that they would not charge the price of my set meal. And, everyone was hoping that there would be another piece of broken glass in her meal. =.= So, with such reason, I had a free lunch which cost RM 16. =P "Look at the brighter side", as the saying goes. As TianXin says," Wu suo wei, Kai xin jiu hao" ..haha..

It's really great to be in group with them.

Due to over-tiring mind, after Tracy fetched me home, I slept for 5 hours. la la la~ so nice~

good mood for today~

p/s:surprisingly, I could score 51.59/60 for my psychology coursework marks! Now, I'm aiming for A! Hope I could score GPA 3.5 and above!

....Grow or not to grow!

"Am I growing maturely?" This is the question which I was asking myself since last semester. At first, I thought I'd clarified myself after attending Tzu Chi's reading book session during last sem break. I felt super motivated and "fresh" for the first few weeks, trying to cheer up and motivate everyone around me. I was really happy for the reason that I thought I've grown to be more mature! Unfortunately, I don't think I am for now. I don't feel as "xiao sha" as last time, keep on telling others "kai xin jiu hao", "ku zhong zuo le", "xiao yi xiao, shi jie zhen mei li",etc..

I really prefer the way I joked last time and this causes me to have the urge to "hypnotize" myself to become the "funny baby girl"called by those seniors ( though I don't really like the baby word because it really makes me to feel I'm small and unable to do things) , the "Famous Joker" named by my friends, "Xiao Xin" nicknamed by "Bruce Lee", or " Xiao Hai Zi" called by CK senior citizen.

Life may be simple to be back the old Tian Xin who joked every minute. But, this means that I'm not growing up because I hope to reverse back!!! It's really conflicting!

Hmm..But, I finally figure out my meaning of life! I still could be as funny and happy as previous TianXin, as long as it's not LAME! =) Congrats!

Life is actually really that simple!!!

Just be who you are and learn from your mistakes & this means growing for me!

I'm really proud of some people who hold the committee posts now. Yong Lee has really impressed me! He has really grown up! He's not as shy as last time who didn't want to speak much in front of others. Besides that, he could give nice feedbacks and motivate others, unlike those days when he just fooled around(maybe he was just hiding himself?). His growth makes me feel ashamed of myself because we were on same stage when first joined 19th CS but,now, I listen and really pay attention to his comments, indicating I respect him as senior now.

Besides Yong Lee, Corine is also growing. I always think she's better than me, in fact, she is. But, what has impressed me is she's improving to be better than past.

*Thanks to Yi ye ye, Yat Lei, who created 2pgs of newsletter all regarding my feelings and thoughts during last 19th CS. I really appreciate it! It reminds me the first feeling i joined STACT Club- this big family~ Sincerely, I really treated them as my family consisting of yi ye ye, yi shu shu, yi fu mu, and yi mei, not to forget babysitter as well. Honestly speaking, recently, I've lost the strong feeling of this family bond. So, once again, thx to yi ye ye who has reminded me the feeling. =)

Ha! I found a memorable day full with laughter... =) ~ 4th Edu Meeting

I had a meeting with my edu group members today. At first, Vv and I didn't plan to have it but Kiet asked edu group to plan games for coming 2nd 20th CS Training Session. So, I called up a meeting and discussed the agenda with Vv 1 hour before the meeeting. In fact, we didn't have many to discuss but games and slow~gan as John pronounced. Haha... =) (should be slogan)

Here we start!
We brainstormed ideas for games and voted. Since we are in same group, all of us voted the same game- the "Slave" game (this was how Shirley described). I realized that my edu group members are actually not that "edu" as what others thought to be soft. They seem to like "punishing" (refer to post TianXin's19th Birthday to know how they "punished" me). Don't worry! TianXin is here to rescue them~ ;P

Then, we brainstormed slow~gans for our edu group. Barinstorming is really an encouraged activity in a group because mant things can be really funny, especially when all combine ideas together. First, each of them was asked to think of one. In the process of finalizing, we came out with a funny slogan- "The Edu Checklist" to check our motivation, correct behaviour, clothing, etc.. It's like that "Checklist of Edu Group! Ready to go beyond yourself, check!; high motivated, check! Check, check, check ,check....!"

I really like it! 4 out of 6 voted it as well! But, of course, this will be used to create funny atmosphere among oursleves because we found hard to shout it out while controlling our "over-high" emotion. =P

Finally, we proposed to have fun this Saturday after training but Shirley couldn't make it so the date will be confirmed later~ But, don't worry, John! Proposal for outing of edu group will still reach your inbox by tonight!

Today's meeting was quite funny! Check! Saved in my memory~ =)

Psychology Mid-term test!

I was quite happy with my results!

I should only score 78% if Ms.Khor is a strict one because I wrote wrong keyword for the 20% long essay. Whew~ Luckily~

At first, I expected to score 50% at least. Hence, I'd no feeling when Ms.Khor asked us to rate our stress and emotion level. When I received 90%(mcq-28%; short ans-50%,long essay-12%),I didn't really feel extremely happy but just happy. I don't know why!!! I should be really happy for this because it was out of my expectation, even expecting highest score! Sad case...Am I numb?

I remembered last time when I received results which were out of my expectation even not so big difference like psychology test, I would be extremely happy and wanted to celebrate with my friends. Or, at least, I was joking all the day! Haihz..too bad...

I could actually score 98%, Ms.Khor said if I didn't write wrong keyword.
Thinking in the brighter side, it means thatI could really score well if I put effort to study and Ms.Khor gave me mercy marks instead of deducting full20% in my long essay part.

=)

TianXin's 19th Birthday Celebration~

First time not feeling to celebrate my birthday because I don't think I've grown up mentally. In the past, I would look forward my birthday by counting down and having lots of plan with Jia Ying (since our birthdays are just 5 days different). I would have new wishes and goals, indicating I was prepared myself to proceed next stage. For this year, I'd forgotten my birthday was reaching until 2 weeks ago when I noticed a circle on my calendar. Swt.. So, I actually didn't plan Jiaying's birthday surprise as last few years. too sad..

Anyway, I really want to thank everyone who wished and celebrated with me, including the STACT people who bullied me terribly (Save the "nice" story for the last).

On the birthday, Angie and Thuyen bought a RT cake for me. I didn't really expect until the time when they asked me to go out during PSY class, I started to guess. To avoid trouble for them, so I just followed their words and went out. and, swt...they really prepared a cake with lighted candle(I'm 10years old only =P). Thx..
At night, Facebook full of wishes with keywords like kid, wu suo wei, kai xin jiu hao, xiao mei mei,etc.. I wonder since when I have so many nicknames. *hmm...

Next day, I was wishing all the time that no cake would be seen by me anymore because I'd eaten cakes 4days continuously, including mooncakes. @_@ I even commented at the message yi mu left me.

At first, I expected they'd celebrate during meeting and I reminded myself to be aware. But, during meeting, I'd really forgotten of it. Stupid! Again, Maintenance group's job to prepare the cake. Sienz..always same style but why not the "punishment" is also same style which is no punishment?! When they brought in, they sang. They seemed like to sing because even I've shouted stop, they didn't bother and kept on increasing their voice (when asked them to sing during training, they didn't want but that day they sang so loudly -.-). My voice was really covered by those high frequency voices. Then, *POP! TianXin's bulb was lighted with an idea. To stop them, I blew off the lighted candles before they stopped. Ha! My ears could finally rest for a while with full silence. It happened in less than 2 seconds for them to stop. Not bad yea for them to react in 2s. hee..
Lighted and blew, lighted and blew, it was so fun! Pitying them, I gave them mercy by not blowing off anymore for them to continue. But, I felt regretful now because dunno-who proposed an idea to "punish" me by asking my group members to kiss me! Grr...I'll revenge! What made me shocked was my members looked so excited when they heard it and insisted to carry "the kissing activity" on me! I really had my phobia now. ='( All so-called family members didn't rescue me but held my hands so tightly, especially yi fu! Then, vivien who really kissed my cheek when I wasn't really ready at all. EW~
Learned helplessness on my first birthday celebration with STACT Club creatures...

Last Friday before my 19th birthday, we had a small celebration of JiaYing's birthday at CHS during ping pong session. Guo Dong, Chen Kiat, Angie, Kean Mun, Lisan, Jiaying, Weiling, and Edwin attended.

Before that, I went to Pyramid to watch Tsunami. WeiYi strongly proposed to accompany, saying that she'll never allow her friend to watch movie alone. "It' weird!",she said. Ok then, since she really insisted, I accompanied her la. hee... It was really funny and touching. What made me felt touching was the parts when others were laughing because of the "ridiculous" reaction of the victims. The victims had such reaction because their mind was totally blank because of the fear.

Then, Edwin called me, asking what should he do now after class. Haha..So, I just asked him to fetch him, saving time for Weiling to fetch me. We chatted about our birthdays as his birthday is one day before me. I said that I still prefer to enjoy my birthday alone with a few sudden plans like watching movie, travelling, or even sleeping, etc.. This is what I mean relaxing! =P
Fine! They just think that I like to be isolated. Perhaps, it's becoming a truth after graduating from CHS as this thought is started since I study at INTI. "wu suo wei, kai xin jiu hao", this is what Tian Xin always tells others and herself.

After having dinner at Street Cafe, Subang, we then proceeded to CHS. We were late!!! Oh my! =P Instead of 7pm, we reached at 8.30pm.And, the equipemnts were with us! swt... sry yea for the early birds! We didn't mean it. It's because of the traffic jam and late served food.

I did really enjoy that day, joking with others. =P

First Camp in my life- A Church Camp

Seeing the title may cause people to mistaken tht I'm a Christian. But, I'm sure that my readers know I'm not.

Being invited by Carol, I decided to join their camp after missing last year's camp by their church as well. I joined because I hadn't joined any camp before. And, also to know more friends because I find that communicating with more people from different backgrounds could help me to learn the theory of life. So, I just went for it though I was actually super busy even it's a week of holiday.

First day of camp, honestly speaking, I somehow felt it was wasting my time because there were talks everyday by a Christian pastor. And, you readers could guess the contents. In addition, most campers are high school kids. During ice-breaking moment, I thought:" Oh my god! paying RM100 something to join a kids' camp???" I started to feel regretful because if I didn't join this camp, I would have more time to prepare for my mid-term studies (psychology and sales management), guide my educational group members better, or even attend Tzu Chi's 3days 2nights camp.

Perhaps, it would really be better if I didn't go. But, I didn't really feel regret after a day. The talk was interesting though there were some which I don't really agree.

On the other side, every single human there did teach me things. There were talks, sharing moments, meditating moments, singing, etc. everyday. The kids were not kids when they played the role as a leader or emcee, leading us to sing some songs everyday. Facing so many people but they could talk relaxingly and funnily.

Besides that, the young mentors did their job well, guiding us. I really respect them.

Though till now, if calculate in a realistic way, I still think that not joining this camp would save my time but I didn't feel regret for joining it. I really did enjoy the camp with quite a number of new friends and experience different things like playing captain ball, playing station games, acting drama, etc..

The most enjoying moment should be drama session which each group was required to act using given styles like Indian, Robot, Opera, Rap, and Chinese Opera. I didn't really contribute much as I was just acting as a castle, stading there still and introducing the story at teh begining. I like Indian style the most. Haha..."Aneh & Dumby" haha..the names created by themselves. They really "spoke" Indian language. =P

4th Sem Results

4th semester results are out!!!

This semester was really risky for me as I did last minute revision so my results are at border line to pass 3.0 for scholarship requirement. But, comparing with last few sems, especially my second sem, I didn't really feel afraid. One reason to explain is because I didn't put much effort, so I did not have much feeling on my results, just sometimes would fear of failing to pass 3.0 for the scholarship. As Choong Kooi Yi Fu mentioned before," If you do not put much effort to do that stuff, you won't really have much feeling to bother the outcome". That's it!

In my second sem, I thought I would fail to pass the 3.0 requirement because I did very badly in my English(I thought) as I couldn't finish off my essays. I was so afraid till I dared not to collect my results. Carol accompanied me and helped me to check then only told me.Results came out to be much better than previous sem. I even improved to 3.5!!! I was so happy.

While for this semester, another non-INTI friend coincidentally said that she could accompany me to collect results as she wanted to enrol for ACCA at INTI. We just planned on Sunday.

Then, this morning, she came to fetch me. She didn't know my house and didn't even call me up 1 day before to ask. She went to google my location. -.-" Fully utilizing Internet..ha..Good! She lost her way at first then finally reached my home. We then went to INTI to collect my results first.

Though I was worried, I wasn't that afraid maybe because I've got used to it. I felt that I would surely pass it. Reached Exam office, I showed my student card. But, I didn't really walk away like last time. And, my results slip showed 3.25. I was satisfied that I passed 3.0. But, when I saw the grades, I started to feel frustrated. I got 3B+ and 1B. First time for scoring no A. And, if I did work harder, just a bit harder, I could score 3A- !!!

75-79:B+

Perhaps this really has taught me a lesson not to do last minute revision but in another hand, helped me to pass 3.0 scholarship requirement.

I passed basic requirement but not my own requirement. I just realized that no A is quite a sad thing. Ha..Satisfied with the results but not really happily.

Then, Shireen and I went for a chat with Choong Kooi Yi Fu regarding ACCA. And, I just realized that Shireen and I hadn't met and contacted each other for 1 year since last year's August sembreak!!! But, we were still that close..Maybe this is wat we called as TRUE FRIEND. =)

20 Difficulties in Life 1

Wednesday (190809)- 8pm

We discussed about being an ordinary one. Being ordinary doesn't mean to be passive and not to work hard to outshine others. The main point is what is the definition of being ordinary. In today's world, everyone's striving to be special. But, in fact, everyone becomes ordinary. Sometimes, being humble an ordinary one can learn a lot of things.

This topic helped me to relate to STACT Club. Instead of being the top 5 or leaders, we can sometimes choose to be an ordinary member. We can clearly understand how they feel, work, communicate, etc.. By doing so, we can eliminate the mistakes and notice members' feelings when we are leaders in future. It's just like why the majesty has the duty to stay outside for few days with his citizens.

Next, we discussed about discriminating those who have poor knowledge. We often find people looking down people who have lower knowledge than them. They don't have the knowledge doesn't mean they don't know forever, they just haven't learned it. They haven't reached the stage. While you are discriminating them, you should think that you are being discriminated by others as well. Nobody is perfect in this world. In contrast, you should feel shameful towards your attitude of looking down people instead of encouraging people to work harder.

There are 2 types of people in this world when facing discrimination: first, people who look down himself and act passive. This type of people will only cause others to look down on them more. They should always believe that not they don't know, they just haven't learned. What they need to do is LEARN. Next, people who will act aggressive and work even harder to prove himself he can. But, remember, if you are this type of people, please do not feel arrogant, and look down on others. You should thank those who look down on you. When people look down on you, they remind you that it's time for you to learn. So , in contrast, you should thank them.

Brother asked a question:" People always discuss on looking down others, how about looking down on myself?" Hmm.. This is what I do currently, especially in my 4th sem. I feel embarrassing to have time management. I looked down on myself when seeing others like Ben who can finish his homework in time with his self-discipline though he has poorer results than me.

I know more friends when I join STACT. Fernie reminds me not to take club as excuse for poor results. She cares her results very much but she still could finish her publicity work, cope with her studies(score very well), participate in running competition, join outings with her friends, etc..

Yes, Ms. Su said once before:"In college, we learn. We learn how to handle things. It's like a training stage for us when we work in the cruel society in future. When our boss asks us to finish all things in limited time, can you say no? You still need to carry on. So, let's just take it as challenge!"

This caused me to look down on myself. But, being humble or being passive depends on how we think. Looking down on myself should be motivation for me to do better and reminder for me that it's time for me to catch up them, but not to continue to act passively.

Finally, our last topic is being equal all the time. This is a fact that no one can treat everyone equal. Everyone has his own favorite person. Even Confucius did prefer one of his students most because he learnt what Confucius taught. But, is it that difficult? Nope. The ways may be different but our objective should be equal to everyone. For example, the government wants to be equal. Does that mean that everyone of us should be offered same opportunity no matter how we work? Absolutely not! If it really treats us like this, it is, in contrast, unfair and unequal to us. Rewards should be given to only those who work. How much effort you put, how much you get. Evevryone is different, so the ways used to treat everyone may be different but as long as the objective is equal, that's good enough to say it's EQUAL.

Monday(170709): Short hair cut

I went to INTI to handle some things and chatted a while with Ms. Maz.
Then, rolled to Mid-Valley to read book. Just read a few chapters and I was tired so I decided to take bus to mom's office. While waiting, I met Saw Jin. He's majoring in Accounting and planning to take Finance as another major.
When reached Taman Desa where my mom office is there, I went to have a short hair cut. Refreshing~ =)

At night, I managed STACT account.

Overall, first day of sem break was quite ok.

Tuesday (180809): Dating with Carol

A sudden plan with Carol again to Times Square. This was first time Tian Xin asked for a KTV session. But, we did nothing much. Besides singing, we just loitered around and said bye-bye. Grown up??? We didn't even take any photos like last time. haha..But, actually I hope to have some photos but not in tht "HIGH" mood.

At night, I spent hours to just finish off the CD post mortem report because of loitering here and there, YouTube and Facebook.

At least, I did something? Still ok.

Wednesday(190809): Book reading session with Tze Chi

Hmm...I really had a nice sleep as I woke up at 3.30pm. And, my cleaning plan was ruined by this. Supposedly, I should clean my room and "refresh" it with a new look. I just managed to arrange my things orderly.
Aorund 6.30pm, Brother asked me to read through a book named "20 Difficulties in Life" (translated from Chinese) because I asked him to bring me along to Tze Chi's book reading session which 7-8 people will discuss the topics in the book and share the experience with each other.

At first, I though of not going because I wanted to clean my room but then, I told myself that I shouldn't postpone anything. I should stop that habit which caused me to perform badly in my 4th sem. So, I went. There were only 2 who I know: Brother's girlfriend-Enshi and her foster sister-Kelly.

Thursday (200809): Outing with 3 SF1- LiSan, JiaYing, BakChen

LiSan as Organizer suggested to watch "The Proposal" instead of going to Neway. Yea, what a good plan. Hee..I waited at INTI in the morning as our meeting time was at 11.30am. So, I loitered around INTI library. LiSan and JiaYing came to fetch me at INTI because they called me up saying it was raining. Haha..But, when they arrived, Uncle SUN was there, shining us. Perhaps, it was just an excuse to fetch me? Ha..XD... Kidding . We then loitered around again at Sunway Pyramid while discussing what to have lunch. But, Tian Xin gave no idea as she was so full, just ate. Facing the 2 funny girls saying "Anything", we then decided to play childish game again to decide. Each of us chose one and we played "Scissors, rock, and cloth". -.-" And, HA! finally I won and my choise was Sakae Sushi but actually I wanted to choose Sushi King but was chosen by LiSan. So, we ended up at Sushi King. Again, I was the one who talked, talked, and talked. Tian Xin is not talkative! Ha..Maybe they are too busy in ACCA so nothing much to say, unlike me who experienced so many things just in one sem or even days. Haha.. Uncle Lobak came to meet us finally when the movie was going to start.

I recommend "The Proposal" if you want to laugh relaxingly. Funny yet a bit touching..

Afetr watching, we needed to say bye-bye again. Ha...Let me think..When is the last time I met Lobak? Valentine's Eve, I guess. But, since he started his college life, we seldom talk and crap. Unlike last time, with another Kean Mun, we joked all the time. I hope to have a good chat with those SF1 who seldom meet up but when see them, I don't know what to chat. hmm...So, I'm only close with a few now, like JiaYing, LiSan, WeiLing, GuoDong, ChenKiat...

Friday(220809): Pulau Ketam trip with collegemates

I guess this is the first time to have a trip with my collegemates. I feel so sorry to refuse for a trip with them everytime they asked me. First sem break, they asked but I was planning a Genting trip with SF1 which was postponed to 2nd sem break, meaning that 1st and 2nd sem breaks, I didn't go for a trip with them. Then, 3rd sem break, I had to go for Community Service so again, I said bye-bye to them.

Finally, when STACT told me there won't be any activities during coming sem break (my 4th sem break), I told them happily that this time I could follow them. But, this time no one wanted to organize. Ha..what a coincidence. I wanted to roll to Cameron Highland but it was too rush to organize. So, finally, we confirmed the Pulau Ketam trip one day before. Ha..A sudden plan from Tian Xin again. Luckily, there were total 7people who were on for this sudden trip : Me, Angie,Ck, ThainHoe,Ezen and her BF, and Danny. =P Everything went smoothly that day. Except waiting for my train to Subang Jaya to meet them and waiting for those late comers, We didn't need to wait for any public transport. All we did was running to rush for ferry and KTM. So, time was saved.

It took us 1.30hrs to reach Pulau Ketam. There, CK met a new friend (dog). It was following us all the way. hmm..should be corrected to: following CK all the way. Asked him to sit, he sat. Ha..He even lied down on the floor when we went to restaurant to have our delicious C-food meal. Yummy~ I love the fish..

After chatting there for about 1 hour, we finally decided to move our butts. And, we found out there were new arrivers. So, Angie and I rushed again and found out the ferry had come and was about leaving. Run, run, run...Phew~ We were able to catch up.

AUP Farewell Dinner by STACT Club @ Yuen's Steamboat

Since joining STACT Club, I know more friends from different programs like A-Level, AUP, and others. And, we become like a big family after organizing 19th CS and Charity Drive.

Now, it's time to say bye-bye to some of them who will be leaving soon in 2 more weeks' period. So, yesterday- last day of July (310709), we had a bye-bye dinner with them at a not-so-romantic place, the Yuen's Steamboat Restaurant.

At first, Tian Xin suggested to go for RNC Steamboat Restaurant which offered BBQ, Steamboat, .... @ RM 19.80 only, also included drinks. She has organized 4 steamboat gatherings there. And, everything went smoothly. But, the day before the farewell dinner, she received a BIG BIG JOKE!!! After the seats were confirmed by Seng Kiet, she called to the restaurant for booking 30 seats.
And, GUESS WHAT???She was told that RNC wasn't exist anymore.

Here's the conversation:

TX: Hello, I want to book 30 seats for a farewell gathering tomorrow.
RNC: Oh, we can't make it.
TX: Why?? Fully booked?? thinking: OMG.
RNC: Not, we aren't offering anymore.We won't operate tomorrow.
TX: Har?Y?Holiday? thinking: what a coincidence!
RNC: nope, we have stopped operating.
TX: What???!!! since when? I thought I still saw your shop operating last week?
RNC: Oh, our boss decided to close it on last Sunday.
TX: .... (speechless) -.-"

So, finally, we went to the congested Yuen's steamboat where there are always people grabbing for CHICKEN WINGS. ha..This is what people call Yuen's! ("YUEN lai jiu shi zhe yang" -bc) 23 people went and later on 5 people joined just to enjoy the crazy atmosphere created by us.

Why I describe as crazy?
Reason 1: 23 of us sang birthday song when the unknown people were celebrated their friend's birthday next to our table. Funny..

Reason 2: Taking photos here and there at such a crowded place.

Reason 3 : discussing strategy to grab chicken wing. And, TianXin's table always got the most because there was an "Advisor of Grabbing Chicken Wing". =P

Reason 4 : King had uncountable prawns. Scary...

Crazy yet fun..But, honestly speaking, Tian Xin doesn't really like crowded place, esp when having meal.

Falling in love ???

Charity Drive has ended, assignments and tests have packed my schedule, and final is just around the corner. But, I still "lai lai han" (this is what I used to hear from You Hang). I'm seriously not motivated this semester. What cause me to be so? I think I'm in love.., in love with SF1, probably. >.<

The time we spent fooling around here and there was really memorable. We studied together, went tuition together, celebrated birthdays together, crapped, joked, acted stupidly, gossiping teachers, taking Mr. Michael as our entertainment, etc..Also, Eastern Delight which had become our gathering place as we had 4 times gathering there, suggested by me. =P They are like my family members, teaching me and protecting me.

So, I'm always willing to spend time and effort to organize gatherings and "travel" to their college just to have lunch with them. "Kai Xin Jiu Hao" =)

The last class gathering organized by me was attended by 30 SF1 members, which was on the Valentine's Eve. Since that gathering, we seldom meet up each other, not even outings with WeiLing, LiSan and Jia Ying they all.

It's time to go back "SF1 HOME" to fool around with them, especially Chen Kiat, Angie, Kai Qing, Chin Mei, Zi Wei, Shi Yun, Chen Wong, Lobak, Kean Mun, Bruce Lee, Sheau Tien, Serena, ............

I feel so relaxed these few days. Is it because of the end of Charity Drive? Perhaps it's true as I can "resign" from secretary post already. Ha.. Assignments done? Nope, I still left 2 assignments and 2 presentations which I hate the subject most - American Republican and Advertising.

Yesterday, I did something crazy again. I planned to watch Ice Age 3 alone again at Mid-Valley suddenly. But, I met Vivien and Xiao Tian and told them. They also wanted to watch. So, I decided to inform the only ones we met. See fate~ Ha..As planned (2 hours ago ^.^), we gathered at concourse at 4pm. There were so many STACT ones like John , Fernie, King, Chew Lian, .... Wa~ What a fate! I asked them to watch together, they were so excited and asked when to watch; but, then theychanged to a lame face when I answered "NOW". Ha.. Funny to see their "sweat" face. Waited and I finally realized that why there were so many of them. That wasn't fate lar! They were there to gather to pray. -.-"

Delayed time, seen the ex- Top 3 of 19th RS fooling like kids, crapped, joked,..., we finally arrived Sunway Pyramid at6pm with Wai Hong's "pro" driving skill, "wai lai wai qu". Ha.. =S
Wow! The queue was so short, no people at all. So, when we reached, we bought tickets to watch at 6.30pm.

Hmm..Not bad, the movie, suitable for kids and lame ones.

Due to dissatisfaction f the degree of craziness yesterday, I popped up another sudden plan again- staying back at college to play ping pong. Wee~~ The SKY agreed as it was raining, forcing me to stay back. Thx fo Wen Jye for being willing to play with lousy player like me. Hate King for taking revenge from me by hitting the ping pong ball so hard... -.-"

Kang Kai was here today too. Child abuser~ I'm gonna tell yi ye ye, yi fu mu and babysitter that he bullied me!!! Bad Kang Kai. But, I don't think they'll help me as they betrayed me by telling Kang Kai that I imitate his way of speaking. Help!!!

Around 8pm, we finally moved for dinner. The people were abonormal....as me? nope. I'm normal. Ha..They kept on laughing for nothing. Haihz..Pity them~

*Cheers ~ I got 42/50 for my microecon test which I studied last minute after back from Follow-up Visitation. (Honestly, I didn't pay attention in class due to over-tiredness that caused me to sleep)

Also, I've improved in my America Republican tests for 10 marks (70/100) which I also studied last minute due to lack of time after coming back from Follow-up visitation and preparing Microecon test on Monday. (Tuesday was the American republican test). I was shocked when I saw that I could still score in my MCQ part which I shaded the answers randomly as I didn't prepare for MCQ part. Ha..

Charity Drive May 09 ^.^

Charity Drive

As a secretary, I played an important role in Charity Drive as the whole committee relied on me to issue memos for booking of equipments and venues. It was really a challenge to me as I haven't taken such role before. I didn't know the departments well. Hence, this really had made me crazy and damaged my brain cell. (Even milk couldn't save my brain cell) My studies were greatly affected. I kept on forgetting things. What a disaster! Really hate those red tapes! I needed to keep on changing the memos and taking to all departments to be approved. Funny -.-" However, I would like to try once again after becoming as member who really takes part in organizing. So far, I haven't really joined in organizing. I was publicity in last project and secretary in Charity Drive event. So, when the event started, I was back-up of helping out other departments instead of planning something.

After busying for 4 days with so many activities like basketball tournament, food fair, games fair, Haunted House and car wash service, Charity Drive May 2009 had finally come to an end on Friday night (3rd July 09) with the last event- Charity Night held at ICSJ Basketball Court.

Charity Night

For Charity Night, I was assigned to be the usher. I would like to express my gratitude to the one who noticed my "professional" skill as usher during the karaoke session at 19th CS project and suggested me to be usher. Also, thx to them who only told me one day before the Charity Night, when we had our last minute rehearsal. -.-"

Yi fu and yi ye ye came early to "observe" us while we were busy preparing the food for sale. Sherine and I were in charge of booth selling snacks and desserts. Unexpectedly, the food was sold out so fast. So, we needed to keep on preparing with non-stop action. Pro! And, finally we gave up when there were no more food to be cooked. -.-" So, instead of closing our booth at 8pm as planned, we stopped selling at 4pm.

Charity Night started at 8pm. Team spirit, joyful atmosphere, smiling faces and laughters were all around the basketball. &pm, everyone got ready. The audience came one by one. Everyone was busy doing his work.

As usher, I waited at the entrance to welcome VIPs and STACT alumni like Kang Kai, Yat Lei, Chin Lim, etc..
Oh my, VIPs walking towards the entrance, reaching, and finally smiling with us...As discussed, I followed the back of VIPs while Celine led them. Oh my! I was regret to do so as the STACT alumni were at the back of VIPs. As a professional usher, I welcomed the alumni but was bullied by Kang Kai. He squeezed my FACE with his hands. WA~ Child abuser...He delayed me, forcing me to run like a kid to follow the VIPs. Hate him! =P

Standing there like "models" really made Celine and I feel stupidly, especially when inviting the guests to stage, like they didn't know the MCs were calling their names. Ish..

Finally, during performances, ushers were allowed to rest and loiter around. I sat beside Yi Fu. So obedient. ha..
Beside him was the basketball guy (still not willing to call his name =P ). I asked Yi fu whether he needed me to buy herbal egg and peel for him as I promised to practise filial piety towards "parents". He refused. Sad..But, then, Richard- the lame guy, came and sold herbal eggs to them. They bought instantly. What lar.. They even replied that they purposely didn't want to buy from me. So, in return, I said I didn't want to peel for them. They said, "Whatever" because they ( 2 senior citizens) saw wrongly and thought the eggs were peeled. When they realized, they changed rapidly, softening their voice when calling my name and asking for my help. Wahaha..Oh. First time hearing their voice to be so nice like melody, not sound pollution =P "Tian Xin, Tian Xin..." As a good, nice and obedient yi nv, I helped yi fu (Choong Kooi) as I promised him before and ignored the basketball guy. But, finally, I helped him as well. 3 days 2 nights of Follow-up Visitation @ Temerloh, Pahang

As I've promised in my previous post, I'm posting now regarding my 3days 2 nights stay at my foster family's house @ Temerloh, Pahang. It was really rushing and risky to go back as I would be having Microeconomics and American History Mid-term test and I still hadn't touched the book. In addition, I didn't pay attention in the class for past few weeks.

During this period, I watched the most dramas in my life since Form 3, I guess. When I reached there around 6pm, I followed foster mother back. Glad to see back my "sha yi mei" and my "yi gou". Ha.. The dog was so excited when it saw me. It kept on following all the day and lay on my legs. Actually, it was due to the weather which kept on having lightnings. =P Just 1 hour, everyone was not at home, except foster grandma and foster brother, Fang Can. I did not dare to study in room. So, I was sitting on sofa to watch dramas for about 5hours. Cool man!

Next day, I did nothing. Many of them had followed their foster family to Taman Negara. Unfortunately, my foster dad was super duper busy so he assigned foster mom to bring me for delicious Tom Yam. After that, we then attended Fnag Can's Interact Installation Day. Wow wow wow...He was the President of Interact Club. But, I would prefer to stay at home to study instead of sweating (& "sweating") with them. I was still able to complete 2 chapters of notes. Whew~

At night, I was tricked by my foster dad to act as nurse for Parents' Day celebration. I promised as my foster sister said she'd act also. But, then, I only realized I was the youngest. Others were over 40 years old, at least. -.-" I didn't practise and my foster dad didn't tell me the detail. I was O.O when what he told me was not exactly the same when acting. He didn't tell me because he wanted "natural" reaction. What a JOKE!!! -.-" Then, that day, I found my foster brother was quite lame, kept on saying I was the "best" actor when foster dad asked how's the drama. We had our 2nd cake when back to house. Yummy~ Green Tea cake which I told my 2 younger foster siblings that it was so delicious. The cake would melt in your mouth and fill your mouth with green tea fragance. I kept on emphasing the MELT word. =P When photos were taken, songs were sung, we ate. I then asked Fang Can whether the cake melted in his mouth the second the cake entered his mouth. He said yes. But, actually, it was due to his saliva. Wahaha...

Next day, time for us to back to KL, everyone slept till very late. Lun Chi (foster sis) and I slept till 11.30am. Ha.. hmm..then, prepared and went home...

I’m lazy to find where my happy diary is which I didn’t write since back from 19th CS due to lack of time. But, I really want to record my mixed feelings today.
I’m panic, really panic and stressed due to tests, assignments, and sponsorships which all are needed to be done by next Friday.

And, I'm just back from 19th CS follow-up visitation at Temerloh, Pahang. Glad to celebrate Father's Day with my foster family. Happy to meet my foster sister, Fang Hui. Funny to know my foster brother, Fang Can, that he's actually quite lame as me..ha..It's really funny to see someone who looks very serious all the time to joke coldly and laugh at lame jokes. Ha..My foster sister, cute~ ha..still same, as lame as me.. =)
Will upload blog on the 3days 2 nights stay at there as soon as possible after week 8.

Busy week 8:

Monday : Microeconomics test- haven’t prepared (will prepare after blogging)

Tuesday : American Republican test which everyone fears. 6 chapters to be completed but I haven’t even touched 1 pg ,…Wa~ =’( But, what makes me glad and touched and energetic in striving for good results is that I have FRIENDS…They are there to help me..Love them… Not to waste their effort, I’ll strive for the BEST!!!

Wednesday : Really need to interview NESH for ADV assignment due on FRIDAY. So far, Sai yung and I have just done 20%. And, both of us are having tests on Mon and Tues. So, most probably, we can only continue after Tuesday. Not to forget, I’ve also promised Wen Jye to help him on Wednesday night for making 10 souvenirs.

Thursday : My uncle’s wedding dinner at his house. Promised to help him after class at 10am. Now, I’m afraid that I can only help him after 2pm.

Friday : Not free for whole day from 8am till 12am. Uncle’s WEDDING DAY. Oh my, I haven’t even bought my dress. Just forget it!

Saturday : Complete 2 essays to hand up as tuition work which I have missed for 2 times on Sunday. So sorry, Mr.Hew!!!!

Sunday : tuition. Then, rest for minutes and HERE WE GO, CHARITY DRIVE (no eyes to see)… =S

CS Vs CD

First, let me explain what are CD and CS.

CS, Community Service, is a 1 week program carried out by a group of 34 INTI students from STACT Club at unknown rural area during our semester break. Everything was tough there. We needed to adapt to new environment for 1 week, carry out non-stop activities there, and face many unexpected situations like lacking of materials, etc.. It was really tiring but many sweet memories I got from there.

CD, Charity Drive, is an event by STACT Club as well. We need to carry out activities like basketball match, food fair, games fair, etc. throughout 5-day period. This can be said tougher for me as everything needs to move on while everyone is taking care of his studies as well. So, many things will be slowed down and unconsciously ignored by members.

Comparing CS and CD, I would say that I prefer CS (Community Service) more, more and more!!!

First of all, I don't feel they are united while preparing for CD (Charity Drive)!!!

Some have been absent for all meetings. And, some are busy with other clubs' activities. This can't blame them. In contrast, I feel proud of them and want to thank them. For example, Ee Lian, who takes a high position in CCS (Chinese Cultural Society), still does her best to finish tasks assigned to her.

While for others, I'm speechless. These types of people, I would say that without them, work will be done much more smoothly!!! At first, I thought that every single one from 19th CS team is united like a family. But, after carrying out the tasks as a secretary during the preparation of this event, I realize this is WRONG!!!

Those people can be divided to..
1. "WORDS speak louder than ACTION" ; These people just know how to talk, talk and talk but do nothing. They plan this and that but are not willing to take the action!!! Also, this type of people always thinks he wants to do well but actually not!!!

2. "BABY" ; This kind of people needs to be pushed and spoon fed, just wait, wait and wait. Tian Xin:" Ish!"

3. "NEGATIVE ". ; Before doing, he just says HARD and IMPOSSIBLE! This type of people makes me speechless and Tian Xin would like to say "Bye-bye" or "Sayonara" to him!

4. "PUSH" ; pushing all the work to others.TianXin would say," Pls do bang the wall yourself!"

5. "SLOW MOTION" ; Have been asking things from these people but need to wait for long long long reply from him or even no reply. Even when they got the info, they won't come to you and tell you even though you have just asked them 1 or 2 days ago. TianXin:" Grr.."

I can feel the TOP 3s' pressure! It's like pushing the rock yourself! It's like shouting tousands of people to gather!

Through the period of preparing for CD, I could only feel and get spirit from just a few ones, maybe not even 10 among the 26 who are committee members of CD!

I learn from this that everything needs to be FAST and STRAIGHT! Just say "OUT" to those who are not interested start from beginning!

Ha..I'm mean and I mean it!

I like the moments when everyone works like a team, just like CS.
The only moment makes me feel like working as a team during CS is yesterday's banner drawing. Everyone went back, just left Wen Jye, Sai Yung, Vivien, Wai Hong, Marcus and me. Not to say others were not willing to work. They worked for whole day. I just like the feeling of working together and having meal together after completing the work.

Meeting with foster brother+Post Mortem of 19th Community Service+President OKC's birthday

I'm the treasurer of the main board of STACT Club now. Actually, Yat Lei did ask me what post I'm interested but I'm still blurred of the position so I said,"Anything". So, they assigned such nice post for me---the TREASURER!

As a treasurer, I start learning how to count precisely.

I had forgotten that I needed to attend post mortem at 6pm, Wednesday. And, I made appointment with my foster brother for the sake of my mom. As I mentioned, he is a backup national badminton player and my mom is publishing a series of comic about badminton. So, we set our meeting time at 5.30pm (because foster brother's training session ends around 5pm).

"Time is money". As a treasurer, I counted and finally decided to skip my class at 4pm-6pm to attend the dinner with my foster brother near my house and his training center as it eased mom, foster brother, me, ....

At night, I stayed at Vivien's hostel. Due to President's birthday, we felt that we should join their swimming pool session but not going for swimming. Everyone was thrown into swimming pool besides Supeng(due to her newly set hair), Vivien (privilege of a female) and me who just didn't want to get wet though it was actually no problem to be wet but psychologically, I didn't want to be wet without being ready psychologically while staying at other's place. Everyone was so bad, trying to throw me into swimming pool. Luckily, "Xu ba ba" protected his "Hai zi". Nice father!

3 students passed by. I could recognize one of them who refused to join STACT when I asked him to join. I stopped him and his friends, asking him to join our throwing session which he was thrown not he threw others. Ha..
Pity him...He's still not our new member but I joked with others that he is. But, what really made me funny was he did it himself by jumping into the water. O_O ha..

Suddenly feeling I'm so "cruel". Wahaha...

Fisrt day of returning to EARTH

The day after returning from Pahang, our new semester started. First day of schooling, everything was in a mess. I didn't enroll due to the congested departments. I then kidnapped another 4 19th CS team members to watch movie with me. Kidnapped ones were Su Peng, WaiHong, Yong Lee and Zjen Thak who really was kidnapped by us when he was just entering the Inti compound. Ha..

A funny movie but meaningless, I could say.

After movie, we went to meet others to clean up our things brought back from Community Service, beside the SSD office. And, we had our dinner at Kim Chi Pan Mee shop. We joked and imitated each other's action again. Swt..

Summary of 19th Community Service (27 Aprl- 3 May)

As a whole, I did enjoy very much during these 7days of community service. I had been crazy, naughty, disobedient, funny, serious,etc..

I earned a big family and a bunch of friends in such a short time. Though I was being adopted alone, I have 2 pairs of foster parents, foster uncle, many foster brothers and sisters, even more than others who were adopted together.

After coming back from the community service, I realized that actually I'm stubborn, seriously. Seeing others were working so hard and preparing overnight for the next day's event, I hoped to help them and was not willing to sleep even being asked and begged by my president. But, president didn't want to tell me where they were working. So, I could only take my bath and do the only thing which I could do for them--guarding the kids when the kids were sleeping during the 3days 2nights camp. Actually, I didn't know what is called as tiredness already so after refreshing myself in the "artistic" toilet by the "creative" students, I was actually quite refreshed. So, I didn't sleep for whole night. But, I suffered myself the next day. I was very blurred and accidentally wiped my face with hands which were used to chop the chilies. Ish! You can imagine how's the feeling...Also, due to my task in the treasure hunt, I needed to keep on soaking my hands into the bucket of soap water when taking the soap for the kids to throw (station guarded by me was soap-throwing). From this lesson,I learnt to be obedient to president's words.

At night, they forced me to sleep though I wasn't feeling that sleepy like daytime. But, I know that kid should obey older ones. So, accompanied by Juliet, I slept for 4hrs.

My interaction with my foster family was the least. For so many days, I just had 2 meals with them, excluded breakfast which only my foster sister and brother were having with me in a rush. But, surprisingly, I still found myself to be one of them, especially with my foster sister who everyone said we are alike. I'm glad to have foster sisters (Lun Chi and Stephanie). I have always wanted to have funny sisters. Stephanie is too normal, making me to look abnormal."Tao yan ni!" (Jason,2009) I'll train her...wahaha..Ha..
But, still glad to earn 1 more foster sister who can be bullied by me when back to INTI. Wahaha...

So sorry to behave like a kid who troubled the "adults" to ask me to bath, eat, sleep... =(

Campfire (2nd last event)

Besides that, I enjoyed the campfire (last night of our staying in Pahang) very much. There were many VIPs. This gave stress to everyone. Again, I was required to dance and again, I didn’t know the steps. I felt so sorry to Fernie (the leader) the whole evening when she was teaching me. I really wanted to give up when it still left about 2hours to go with me alone in the hall while others went home to accompany their foster family to have dinner. “Yi ge ren gu gu dan dan…” Then, LiYing came and we learnt together. Though she was the member of motivational group and should have mastered the dances very well, she was unsure of the steps.

Luckily, my backup foster family (Yi Fu-ChoongKooi, Yi Mu- Jason, and Yi uncle-ChinLim) came to rescue us. “Yi Fu” is a good dancer for this. He can dance very well with his eyes closing. Another pro one, Yi Uncle also the same while for Yi Mu, though he didn’t really know how to dance, he still joined us and practiced with us. I felt much better accompanied by them. Besides the 2 dances which we would perform during the campfire, we also had fun dancing other dances.

Dear readers, you won’t be able to imagine how supportive everyone was during the campfire. While we, the dancers, were performing on the stage, the advisors were dancing under the stage, leading kids like us. Not only that, the whole team of 19^th CS and the kids we knew during the 3days 2nights camp were dancing together under the stage to show their support to us who were on the stage.

When the VIPs were gone, the joyful atmosphere was risen. All human beings became “Yi tuan tuan” already, dancing, jumping, laughing, joking,….

Before the ending, the whole 19^th CS team had the last dance on the stage, followed by the kids under the stage. A sad song which made many kids started to cry.

After the event and packing our things, I followed my foster family back. They brought me to have supper. In fact, it should be my 2 in 1 meal as they realized that I hadn’t taken my dinner due to lack of time. When they ordered and the food came, I had my 3 in 1 meal(dinner+ supper+ nxt morning's breakfast). -.-“ Swt…… They ordered so much and they didn’t really plan to eat!!! Only my nice foster sister and I really ate!! Oh my god! Food for 4persons but only 2 little girls were eating. Foster mom pitied us and helped us too. I surrendered to obey what the president kept on asking us to do—finish the food whatever we are given. Then, foster dad joined us and finished up the 3 in 1 meal. Whew~

Finally, I got the chance to really interact with my cute foster sister at night because I was really busy every night I stayed at her house while she had to go to school every morning. She asked me to teach her the dances. Ha..I hoped I were Zjen Thak that moment. We finally slept at 3am.

2nd day of Community service, most enjoying day..

Early in the next morning, I followed my foster mom to the MCA building 1hour early because she works at 8am. So, I reached the MCA building early and ChoongKooi (the advisor) was waiting for me to bring me back to the place where he and Jason(another advisor) stayed because it was too early and I had no place to go.

We then gathered at MCA building to prepare our next activity, doing survey. We realized that many children stopped their school and started to work since young. Haihz... We were like Aliens to them. They didn't dare to open door for us. We met one which was even funny because she pretended like nobody at home when we knocked the door. Then, her phone rang. And, we tried knocking again. She had no choice but to admit she was at home. She opened her window only to be interviewed by us. Swt.. -.-"

After that, we had our lunch at MCA building. This was the time when I started to have backup "Yi fu mu"(foster parents). So funny to say that both are guys. They were arguing who to play the role of "Yi Mu". I decided to give Jason such loving role as my Yi Mu. Ha.. All went home with their foster parents to have lunch while I followed my "yi fu mu" back to rest. My backup foster family grew larger after our next event-basketball match. I got a foster sister, Stephanie, who joined us to have dinner because she was the person in-charge for next grand event-- Singing Competition.

We had lots of fun when resting at our backup foster parents' house. Hmm..I just realized that I'm pro in imitating others. I first wore YatLei's name tag and imitated the way he talks, then, KangKai and followed by Jason, ChoongKooi.... Yea, yea..It was my fault to lead others to act crazily like me. ChoongKooi and Jason imitated each other's action just like using a mirror. -.-"

Tata~ The craziest but happiest time for me. The singing competition started. There were so many human beings gathering at MCA building, wearing their super duper "modern" suits. I was one of the dancers (Don't think too much, just motivational dances). Papa~ @_@ But, seeing others, especially Fernie who kept on teaching me till the end even though she was actually nervous that time, I tried my best to master the 2 dances. In the end, I enjoyed very much.

I'm always an obedient one. LiYing gave me some tasks like inviting the standing human beings to sit, asking our own people not to gather as it would be not nice for having a bunch of people... Due to these given tasks, the whole night, I created many quotes + actions. Till now, they still like to copy mine and use them every time when they see me. -.-" I think I need to charge them.

7 days to another planet--Temerloh, Pahang for community service

Sorry, my beloved readers who have waited for so long because there are so many things to write for 7days and with so many activities per day. Finally, I decided not to write in a "report" style. I'll just shorten it and share some funny experiences with you all. I hope that I could "copy" the memory to you like using pendrive. Ha...

1st Day (27/4/2009)

During the adoption ceremony at 4pm on the first day, surprisingly, I had no any special feeling, like feeling excited on which family I would be adopted. I just hoped to be with any STACT ones. I joked with Wai Hong by calling him "Yi Ge", saying that we might be in one family. But, many came to ask me what would I do if I was adopted alone. I said, "Wu suo wei" but was thinking that I wouldn't be so "lucky" gua. But, even it happened, I should be able to handle. After the crapping by those VIPs, foster parents finally started to adopt using the "lucky draw" way. I still didn't have any special feeling but felt glad when others were adopted together with those who they hoped to be with, like WaiHong (the treasurer) and Yong Lee (the cameraman) who are very close to each other, Richard and John (who were the only ones from CHS, besides me),...What a FATE! Then, my name was called!!! I was shocked for seconds when I realized I was alone. And, I started to sing "Yi ge ren gu gu dan dan..." Ha..But, surprisingly, I didn't really feel disappointed because this might be a new and special experience for me. After the adoption ceremony, I was shocked for a while when my foster mom told me that she stays the farthest. The journey back to home needs 15-20 minutes while others just 5-10minutes. Oh my god! I'm not a pro crapper. What should I do in such a long long journey with myself alone and my foster mom???

I followed her back and we chatted on the way back. At first, I was disappointed because I might not have many foster brothers and sisters but when we chatted, WOW!, I have 4 foster brothers and sisters. "Yi Xiong, Di , Jie, Mei" Ha..I'm in the middle one, so balanced..

My elder brother and sister are in KL. Elder brother is a national badminton player who has training regularly at Bkt. Jalil, near my house.Fuyoh.. Ha.. My foster younger sister is only Form 2 while brother is Form 5 students. They were so quiet. Besides that, I realized that I "own" a dog too. The dog doesn't bark, bite, ....unlike others. First day of staying with foster family, I slept with my foster sister and her dog. Haihz.For my first time in my life.

I chatted with my foster family. My foster dad told me that he's a History teacher. But,then, I only realized he's also the assistant of principal. I realized when told by my president. -.-" The whole family plays badminton and is professional in that. The medals are hanging everywhere in the house and the news regarding them are fully pasted on the wall. My younger foster brother is good in studies, debates, playing badminton. Ha..I also don't know what should I do, facing with such positive ones. Our aim of having this community service is to persuade them not to give up studies.

While chatting, my foster dad showed me the photos taken by him today. O.O The only photo he took during the opening ceremony is M.E.-- ME!!! It happened before the adoption part which we didn't expect we'd be in one family. F.A.T.E...I just knew an uncle sitting in front us took his camera out and took a picture . I even joked with Wai Hong that maybe we should have a funny pose. Swt..

End of 1st day...

7 days of preparation before going to another planet...

Before starting, I'm glad to announce to my friends who care for me so much that I scored 3A and 2B in last semester. Not bad..Hee...

After final, we started our preparation work for 19th Community Service (changed name, no longer rural service) on Monday early morning. Perhaps, US (urban service) is a good name too. Ha...

1st day(Mon, 20/4)
We attended talk by MCA from 9am till 6pm. tired yet funny. Nothing much to comment.

2nd day (Tues, 21/4)
I didn't really do many. I started to arrange my booklet. One word to describe--FREEZE. Thanks to INTI's powerful air-cond, especially in the library. I was busy and wasn't willing to have lunch till I finished my work in library. Felt sorry to them. They kept on calling me and asking me to have meal first. They even assigned the photographer to bring me back to where they were. I still spent some time discussing with my assistant. And, finally, Adviser successfully brought me to have lunch at 4pm. I could easily obey him because I respect senior citizen. I went back around 8pm and waited for mom to fetch me to her office to complete the name tags.I reprinted 38 of them with color till 2am with my mom at her office. Felt sorry to her again. She didn't scold me.

3rd day (Wed, 22/4)
This is a special day for me. I remember clearly what did really happen on that day. I wasted the whole day time from morning 9am-12am by just doing souvenirs which finally failed due to my "jiang cuo jiu cuo" attitude. I even wasted others' effort who helped me, especially the photographer. When it reached 11pm, I planned to stay at INTI to finish them. My brain cell system was seriously damaged!!! But, they didn't allow me to stay. They insisted me to go back and they'd help me to complete. Oh my, this was even worse. So, I went back at 12am and continued doing my penholder even though they insisted that they would help me. ...Worked till 3am. My heart was calmed and I could really come out with something which I called souvenir. The whole day was full with crazy jokes. Ha..really fun.

4th day (Thurs, 23/4)
I woke up at 7am to continue my booklet and went to my mom's office to finalize the booklet. Rushing here and there. And, due to my careless attitude, my booklets are full of wrong words. So sry again...Haihz..After finishing, mom fetched me again to Inti to print the 230 copies of booklets around 5pm. Haihz..mistake of mine again. I didn't check with mom that I needed to save the booklet in PDF format. So, finally, we just could photostat them instead of printing the whole book. So, some effects are gone. I felt calmed the whole day due to yesterday's tragedy. When I joined them, I quietly worked with my souvenir. And, glad to say that I did really finish my souvenirs for 1 event; sad to say is that I still don't know how to work with others. I can only do my work well by myself. The whole day, I did it quietly and refused anyone to help. I also became an obedient girl. When President asked to have meal, I followed them instead of refusing. 8pm, my booklets were born. But, unfortunately, many mistakes. Haihz...I worked till 12am again. But, honestly, I didn't ask mom to come late like days before. I waited her, accompanied my babysitter -- President, while doing my work. When back means back. I didn't think of staying again. See~ how obedient I am...=) ..I learnt my lesson.

5th day (Fri, 24/4)
This day, our first event, the 19th CS opening ceremony @ ICSJ
President of Inti Education Group, Mr. Tan Yew Sing, came surprisingly. Haihz..And, this caused our RS President to be perasan because this is the first time President Tan attended. RS President becomes perasan, perasan, perasan...la la la...ha..

I continued doing my souvenir for next event--FILE.
Hmm..Nothing much to talk for this day.
one word--FUN. Ha..

6th day (Sat, 25/4)
Attended an informal talk by Ms. Jessyln. And, we did a small personality test. Glad to say that I'm 女人中的男人. Ha..means I'm tough? or, I'm careless? Ha..whatever. This can be said as my last day to do preparation because we would be staying at Inti the next day (sun). I was so afraid.
To strengthen the bonds between members, we had 2 little games to promote teamwork.
And, that's the day where I started my quote "Time is money, no money, no honey, no honey, no party, no party, not happy". Though they are just small games, everyone did enjoy.

7th day (Sun, 26/4)
Rushing here and there to pack my things. After tution, I only reached Inti at 5pm while others reached there at 12.30pm. Sorry again for having such leniency by them. We had a session of heart-to-heart talk. Evryone was required to talk. Many cried. I felt touched but didn't really cry. When it reached my turn, I didn't know how to talk.Too sentimental, I guess. TianXin's style is joking. Ha..We distributed the publicity's artwork that day. I felt happy for seeing everyone wearing my name tag and taking t-shirt designed by me. Luckily, I didn't give up designing last time. All the time spent to make corraction and design was worth. =)

Whew~Finally tough period gone and I guess my brain cell should start recovering soon, hopefully because I'm going to take another 4 theory subjects again which include American History this time... @_@

But, TianXin promises she'll aim for the best next semester instead of scoring good-enough marks. She'll learn to manage her time better. Sry for this semester. Though I did enjoy playing the publicity role, I started to slack on my studies, causing me to lose all the As' (almost every subject needs 2~3 marks to get an A-). Haihz.."Ke xi, ke xi"

After exam today, I was super relaxed and went to Starbucks to crap with Mr. Ben. Thought that I would stay at Inti to continue my publicity work, I refused to be "kidnapped" by Mr.Ben to KL.
But, we actually couldn't do anything without materials today so we gave up and off I went to loiter around alone at Mid-Valley.

So happy for being alone, seriously, no lying. =)
I straight went to the Cinema to buy tickets. So happy that the quese was so short on this Saturday, surprisingly.

I watched K-20, a nice one, exciting, interesting, funny, touching, "romantic"....
Ha..I think so far almost every movie which I decided suddenly on that day is nice and meaningful. Haihz..I also don't know why. =)

Just want to post something to say "bye-bye" to my third semester...

Brain cell is seriously affected by virus during final exams...

Panic, Stress, ....

I think this is my first time for being so stressful during exams. My brain cell didn't perform well, maybe is affected my PSC Virus as I mentioned before that, after doing revision for PSC (American Government), I'll continue to be blurred for days or even weeks. Haihz..seriously need "ANTI-PSC VIRUS".

Actions which show my brain cell is damaged:
1. First day of exam, totally forgot that I need my Student Card to sit for exam. (kai wan xiao!)

2. Third day(today- Acc paper), I left my Student Card at home.

3. nearly entered wrong exam hall. ( I asked my MGT classmate where is the exam hall, thinking he's sitting for Acc paper like me. He was blurred also because he answered me and I just sat beside him waiting time to pass. But, then, I realized that he was taking Advertising paper by "unconsciously" hearing he discussing with others regarding the tips) -.-"

4. When sitting for Acc paper, I couldn't ensure how many "0" are there in MILLION. I was panicked. The brain cell was suddenly "out of service". And, this spent me for 15 mins in figuring out it!!! (bu hao xiao) I even used Chinese to figure out. -.-" But, then, HA! I finally figured out that 1 million should have 6 zeroes from the word "millionaire". *Speechless....Should I laugh? It's funny, really funny! I even showed my smiling when I finally got it.

I couldn't really use my thinking skills when sitting for exams for past few days. This is the reason why I hate theory subjects so much!!! I don't like to swallow essayssss...

Again, after ACC exam today, I would say "BYE-BYE" again to A. I was quite confident in obtaining an A for ACC before this but due to my test 2 which is full of my careless caluculations, I've no hope in obtaining A for it, not even A-. Haihz...Regret..

Tomorrow is my last hope to get an A in this semester. Hope I can!!! At first, I aimed 4 As', now, I just hope to pass 3.0 for my scholarship.

During exam period for this semester, I kept on asking myself to stay calm, asking myself not to be "so excited" for next day's exam as I found my brain cell couldn't function properly under such "excited" condition.

I just hope next semester will arrive as early as it can.. Luckily, I still have the RS to fill my time. If not, I'm going to suffer again for 2 weeks. Whew~

Why people who just need to take care of their studies but nothing still need answer from others who are already super busy?

Why do they still do poorer than me while they have nothing to do except studying?

Why don't they fully utilize their fresh brain cell?

Why can't they have the same frequency with me, knowing that I dislike copy cats???

Why can't they leave me alone???

I don't really expect anything from them but I just hope they could show me their effort even their effort might be useless.

They are really scary~ They abuse the quote "Sharing is caring"!!!
I'm speechless.. Maybe I'm really just a baby, assumed by STACT people.

Why is my college life so terrible? Why can't I say "NO" to copy cats??

I learnt from this semester that "Sharing is SCARING" while "Exchanging is sharing" which then leads to caring society. =)

Time, pls pass faster; if not, pls reverse back!!! I need time to undergo the process of defragmenting physically, mentally, and psychologically. Really affected by Virus!!!

Looking forward to the days of RS to escape from those animals, and also repeating question from mom "Has Zhi replied my e-mail?" Honestly no exaggerating!!! This question is repeated at leat 4times in a day (EVERYDAY)...Grr...Who knows???If he replies, he'll send to her inbox not mine!!! -.-" Annoying...

My first year of college life at ICSJ has finally come to an end (can be said so as I'm just waiting for my final starting from next Tues).

But, it doesn't mean break is just around the corner, waiting for me. In fact, my days will be more packed. And, maybe I can next time describe my life during semester break as taking "ROCKET"! >=) As I mentioned and kept on emphasizing, I will be rushing for the incomplete job of publicity (name tags, booklets, souvenirs, boards) during the few days after my final exams and going for an "adventurous" trip in the following week. Then, the day after returning from there, which is 4th May, I'll be starting my first semester of 2nd year. Cool leh? Don't envy me for having the energy to "play" throughout the 2 weeks of my so-called sem break because I'm young...Wahaha..

I'm aiming for 4As' for this semester though I realize it's hard to get another 2 As' for my stupid computer subjects (Excel and Word). They need me to score 35/40 in my final. It looks quite impossible. But, as KangKai said," Impossible--> I'm possible". Also, as Ms. Su said, "You need to assume yourself that you can do it, and you'll have the energy to do it". At least, she proves to me that I can still score in my MGT (took this sub in a super short sem-3 weeks) if I put my effort and never say to give up. Fuyoh, I also couldn't imagine I can do it but I did try! She also reminds us, saying "If Ms. Su can do, you also can do!"
So, friends, when you are unsure of your own ability, you just need to keep on telling yourself that you can do it. Sometimes, "lies" can be beneficial. Ha..No one knows your hidden ability. Who knows you can really succeed.

Wa~ super duper busy weeksss starting from today. This week is filled with 5 tests and 2 assignments (1000 words each)! And, the tests include the whole book for each subject, except for management which involves 6 chapters which we just finished rushing last week... Fuyoh~ Supergirl~

It's quite stressful to me as I'm not good in crapping for the theory subjects. But, instead of abusing the word "STRESS", I should fully utilize it as a"PUSH" for me to do better!

Days will still go on and we just need to make our days to be happy days as many as possible!!!

Funny 3rd RS Training... =)

Hmm..Again, a funny training and I even had more fun today as I really joined in the training instead of staying at the corner to do my publicity work.

Only a senior (Choong Kooi) came to visit us, the "kids". When seeing him to be there, I was so happy, thinking that my t-shirt design can be saved! He's a profession in that. But, as usual, he just commented "OK", "Can de la",....And, I ended up to use back the same design, just need to do a bit of correction. Grr...I don't care d! Even it's ugly and childish, the members must wear it! Wahaha..."Xi guan jiu hao" =P

Then, break time again at 12pm, because of the 2 senior citizens' words, we went to pasar to have lunch. So far~ and we had limited time only...During the breaktime, I only realized that my msn conversation was being exposed to almost the whole committee! I would like to express my gratitude to my dear president and publicity assistant. -.-" Ha..kidding la..I won't really be angry because of that. But, I was shocked ( O.O ) when suddenly some of them who I don't really know came and told me.Haihz..no image d.. =) They discussed while I was enjoying my lunch (This time is really a lunch, no more brunch as I learnt my lesson last time- Eat something before having next meal with them). Smart! =)

We continued the training after lunch. I did really enjoyed the dances today, probably because of the not-so-fast speed. And, with a funny senior(Bernard) beside me to teach and motivate me to act stupidly when dancing. Ha...

We also played kid's game but really needed to use a little brain energy, counting "一只青蛙，跳下水，dom! ;两只青蛙，两只青蛙，跳下水，跳下水，dom! dom!.......". We played till 12 frogs and I was the last who lost. -.-" Why couldn't the leader stop this game earlier???...Ish..Must be targeting me. Once I lost, he said enough. So, as a punishment, we were asked to dance in front, shaking butt dance. Ha... "Xi guan jiu hao"..I also had other committee members to accompany me as almost the half committee lost too. Ha.. We danced firstly and were demanded to shake our butt for the second time. The second time was more fun as the whole RS team danced together. The view was quite touching, even not losers also danced together. Ha.. =)

Feedback time....

As usual, committee stayed back to talk. Everyone talked honestly from the bottom of heart, thanking him and her, apologizing to him and her,...

I was asked to talk and comment but I really don't know what to comment. The advisor lo, kept on choosing people who I'm not close with, like photographer who I met for the 3rd time only, to let me comment. But, I don't think I know how to comment, somemore need to say their disadvantages. Haihz.. I tried but still failed. And, the advisor suddenly popped up a golden speech - "Later after meeting, we throw this baby into swimming pool". + . + *Speechless... I answered "Bu hao xiao" and as I mentioned before they are weird ones, they still laughed madly after I said not funny. Haihz...

Then, everyone was asked to tell his own feeling regarding the assignation as committee. Ha! We only realized that we were all cheated by the president, except me. =) I feel that the president is cheated by me rather I'm cheated by him. He needs to take the trouble to train a super fresh one like me who hasn't joined any clubs before. The process to meet STACT was very funny.
I always assume president picked me using "Mini Maini Mini Mo..Who should be the publicity?" because I don't know anyone in STACT. Whatever~ I'm so lucky =)

My Idol to be Professional Joker...

Really an unlucky semester for me!
My Management teacher finally left us after owing us for 16hrs class!!! @#$$%!@##@#$?!@#$ He neither left us in the early time nor after our final! He left just in a "right" time (3 more weeks to reach final while we just finished 2 chap only, 10 more to go)!!! Really fed up! If he didn't leave, at least he'd give us tips for sure as he was the one who set final question. Now, we have replacement teacher so the final questions will all be changed and she seriously refuses to give any tips! WA~~~ DISASTER....

Today was her first class. After attending her first class, my thought of asking for double refund had changed! One word to describe her---"Pro"! She's professional in teaching, joking, ...... "yeng"! cool! I like her very much~ My idol! Almost every second, we were laughing at her jokes but still could concentrate and even remembered the lecture!

Why does TianXin treat her as her idol?

Ha..I may look professional in telling jokes as I always make people laugh. But, one big problem is I'm also the victim of my own jokes, laughing madly. Sometimes even worse, before starting to joke, I laugh madly first and others will see me as a weirdo. =) Ha..

Miss Su, my Management teacher,
speaks super fast, tells super jokes but can control her laughing level...ha..yeng!
She tries to finish 12 chapters in 2 weeks time. Cool! I believe she won't simply teach as we can all see her effort of rushing all the notes by her to us. And, though our past lame teacher had "taught" (act, he just crapped) us for 2 chapters, she still insisted to repeat them again from chapter 1. Nice!

Report of the weather in the night on 14 Mac 2009....

The 2hours rain had finally stopped at 7pm. I waited mom to fetch me to grandma's house for dinner while studying my "favorite subject" -PSC.

She reached me around 8pm and we rushed to grandma's house.
On the way to grandma's house, the weather was nice, cool breeze in the air. Wow...The invisible "stars" looked nice...

Then, when we were to reach grandma's house (just a short distance but still about 3-4km, I estimate), the stupid car made noise, saying that it didn't like its passengers and threw tantrums on us by suddenly appeared to be at "Very Hot" level. We needed to make an emergency stop if not, it'd explode! So, we stopped at the road side. But, what a nice place was it to stop at the slope, blocking other cars. =.="

Then, magically, smoke appeared from the front of car! Oh my!

We called for "HELP" from uncles who were relaxing at my grandma's house. They reached, bringing along my favorite type of water-- Distilled water, to fill the tank to cool down the car temperature.

And, here's the weather report, when my uncles reached, it began to rain. =.=" So "romantic" to be stuck in the middle of the way and the smoke coming out from the front of car when raining.

Finally, an hour passed, and, we decided to call people to pull our car back. "Tick, tick, tick.." time passed, and car was away from our sight.

Then, the second, I said "Bye bye" to the car, it stopped raining... No exaggerating!

When my uncle looked at me, he asked," So unlucky still laugh?" Ha..I replied,"Xi guan jiu hao" =)

Ha..What a funny night I had...

I really had fun with them.

Today, I joined the committee group to have my brunch (combination of breakfast and lunch) at McDonald. -.-" Err...one word to describe- siao! (means crazy and also laughing) I thought that I could finally enjoy my "Happy Meal" at McDonald but I would rather don't have any meal during the break time because I was laughing madly all the time. -.-" I also don't know what's so funny with me. They what also laughed at me. They bullied me! Wa~ Child abuse! They kept on taking me as laughing stock. The vice president was even "cruel". He asked a little girl like me to memorize the background of other members in committee (total 7ppl). Wa~ I also didn't take my breakfast. How could my brain cell remember?! But, they insisted, causing me to have difficulty in swallowing my double cheeseburger. Finally, I finished up my burger but felt like vomiting, just burger because I'd no appetite to have my french fries.

Then, as what they planned, they really shouted my name out to talk about the background of my members. I couldn't understand what's so funny. When I just started to talk, they laughed. -.-"

After that, it was training time again. And, I skipped it. The dances are all so complex and active. I couldn't remember and dance smoothly, like robot. So, I didn't join it, just doing my publicity work-- designing poster.

Finally, it reached 5pm. We decided to celebrate one's birthday secretly again. Due to my easily laughing attitude, I decided to buy cake with another committee(treasurer). We went to Cake Sense(near Neway that building) instead of choosing from Baker's Cottage which is much nearer to Inti (opposite). Ha..

We acted so stupidly, causing troubles to others. So sad... We walked there and ran back. =.=

I also don't understand what had made us to go that far way to buy a birthday cake. Ha..

At night,..

I heard from my sifu that many members of committee cried. The secretary even called up, saying that she wanted to stop it. But, my sifu comforted her and asked her to come today and enjoy it. Can't imagine. She's even active than me and laughs more than me. I didn't realize till I was told at night.

Then, another is group leader who broke into tears suddenly when she couldn't stand the pressure because the deadline for the proposal is today and her members didn't do their part. The deadline is set today because president going to rural area for survey by tomorrow. He needs the proposals.I knew she was upset but didn't realize she was away for a while because of crying.

And, finally, the piteous president. He's a nice and caring one. Also, a creative one which I didn't notice till today. Almost same like Chin Lim who is sharp in seeing things. He may look blurred but indeed he's sharp. I'm stubborn sometimes. What I think is good, I won't change it unless I understand what's wrong with my decision. Today, being asked by him, I tried to design another version of poster and compared to my first version. It's really much better than my first version, commented by other seniors as well. (seniors didn't know president commented before)
Also, he has serious eye problems which might cause him to blind. If undergo an operation, he might only succeed for 20%! And, now, he's working so late everyday as our president and a student (he's not so good academically but I would say that he's a good and caring leader). He didn't even take enough of rest. This was told by my sifu and the president doesn't want anyone to know. Only the seniors know about it.

Haihz..Actually, I'm not that piteous. Good Luck to RS! =)

To CHS...celebration of STACT member..

CHS first...

This morning, I went to CHS to collect my SPM Cert and get principal's signature for my PTPTN agreement. While I was waiting for Pn. Lee in her office, I looked aroung and found many trophies. I'm really proud to be a CHSian though only 2years. =) Pn. Lee Kim Lai looks caring. Hee.. She asked me about my education. After that, mom and I had our breakfast at canteen. It has changed much. The types of food have increased. Now, you can even buy waffer there. Unfortunately, I could only have porridge but nothing due to sick-feeling, no appetite. =(

Then, I went to INTI for class till 2pm and had my meal at McDonald, thinking that I could have place to study but, actually, had just read few pages. And, I received msg from STACT again, asking me to gather at INTI concourse as they planned to celebrate one's birthday secretly. So, I went. The birthday guy was there, still thought that we had meeting. Ha..

Then, suddenly, our discipline master shouted us to gather. As I mentioned before, STACT is a discipline club. We have a plenty of rules to obey. So, we quickly put down our things and lined up as usual, in group. The discipline master shouted the birthday guy's name and asked him to stand in front, fiercelyyyy! If I didn't know we were celebrating his birthday, I would be frightened because discipline master really looked strict. Ha.. The birthday guy was frightened. He was asked to say what had he done wrongly (你知道你犯什么错吗？）. Ha.. He answered that he still carried with his bag while being shouted to gather. Discipline master then asked again, for quite many times. The blurred birthday guy still looked frightened and tried to explain why he didn't put his bag aside. Wahaha...Everyone was laughing, included me. I couldn't stand it as I was standing just in front of them due to my height. -.-" hee..

Finally, discipline master also couldn't stand already. I saw it. He was laughing but still needed to pretend fiercely. Pity him...ha.. So, he announced the blurred birthday guy's birthday! Then, birthday songs....

Punishment or "Reward"?

Due to days or even weeks of late sleeping(2am), I become weaker, mentally and physically. As what TianXin always says, "Brain cell damaging". I really feel that my brain cell is damaging. Sometimes I will even tremble due to over-exhausted condition.

Today, I woke up and prepared myself for the morning class(8am). On the way to Inti, I was sleeping (not really sleeping due to the uncomfortable seat in car). I was super blurred today. I left my handphone in car!!!

And, most importantly, leaving my handphone in car caused me, unfortunately, missed my PSC assignment which carries marks. Because of feeling too exhausted, I planned to skip PSC (American Politics) class for first time! When I told my classmates in first class, they even said if TianXin really does so, it'd rain. I replied, "I do bring my umbrella along!" =)

Then, after PSC class, I continued to next class, Management! Useless! Wasting! @%$#@$###... 气死我了！ The lecturer did nothing in the 2hrs class!!!! And, he informed that he'll be taking leave next week again!!! Now, he owes us 14hrs class!!! I can't imagine how he's going to replace our class!!! I don't think he will!!So far, I think he only has taught us 6hrs from the first day of class!!! He always at least spends half an hour to take attendance!!! Recently, he "improves" by spending about 1hr!!! Wasting our time!!! Ish!!!

After the so-called MGT class ended, we went to have lunch and 2 of my classmates also skipped class with me. -.-" Honestly, the PSC class is really boring but I seldom miss unless I have something really important to do which crashes with it, like driving test. Today, surprisingly for everyone that TianXin didn't appear.

When I reached home, first thing I did was checking my handphone. WOW! 4 missed calls. And, the sms had filled my inbox. I needed to keep on deleting msg.

And, I found that the missed calls were done by my classmates to inform me that teacher assigning another assignment and ask me to attend class! Wa~ Haihz..losing marks again, I thought!

But then, I realized that my classmate helped me to do! I think it's not good actually. Break my record for having others to complete my work! But, still thank to them for trying to help me. Indeed, I feel quite touched when seeing them so care for me. Hee..

Thinking negatively, I feel unlucky for today for not bringing my handphone which then caused them to fail in contacting me to attend class for assignment.

While thinking positively, maybe it means that I should really take a rest after days of sleeping late to recharge my mental and physical energy. I really got the chance to sleep well. But, still not really feeling well. I'm not sure whether it's because of my psychological thinking which influences me to be energy exhausted or I'm really have no energy. Ha..

In order to utilize my time stolen from skipping class, I will complete my revision! Good luck to me! =)

"Stepping into others' shoes"

2nd RS meeting(should be 3rd but i missed the first meeting)...

Today's meeting was fun maybe because we have known each other in the committee quite well and can joke together. After my class (8-10am,2-4pm), I went to the meeting place and waited for the meeting to start at 5pm till 7pm. Really exhausted!

As the head of publicity, I was asked to present my artwork, viz., name tag design, t-shirt design and the design of theme for booklet. President then asked me to explain. I was shocked and brain cell couldn't function for a while! Actually, still functioned quite fast because I asked each of the committee member to imagine and tell me what they could see from my design first instead of explaining at the second. ha..smart,yea? =P After passing through, I still finally needed to explain. Ha..Don't know what I was trying to say. I didn't know how to express my view. -.-" Then, president "rescued" me! He suggested to let him say about his feeling. Wow..Exactly the same like what I wanted to say. Ha.. Actually, quite obviously la, just others are lack of imagination. Wahaha..

The booklet was commented the best among other artworks. So happy to hear it... =) The president said very nice d. Ha..thx to my senior for his honest comments. Name tag was commented as good. Then, the t-shirt wasn't that good. I was thinking of happiness and kids while designing so I made it as simple and as "childish" as I could. The members had a little comments, just asking to add something. Reagen had the most comments maybe due to the theme contributed by him. He commented funnily, like "I prefer open wings.....,etc.." But, while I was jotting down, he concluded like that," Err.. Actually nothing la, you just follow yours. It's already good." *Fainted. -.-" Swt..

After the meeting, I only started to get real and useful comments from the president, 清蒸(don't laugh, I know you're laughing but his name is really pronounced like tht ma). =P

I stayed back for a while. He really did inspire me. He asked me to step into others' shoes when designing like to imagine how the kids will read the words on our t-shirt, what will be covered if the shirt is too long, and most importantly, the design! What type of impression will be given to people there for wearing t-shirt. We're college students. So, we should design based on our age. (means my design is quite childish -.-") turn a big round to describe childish. Ha..Actually, TianXin's nothing. She prefers honest comments. =)

Wa~..too much to write..late now. stop here. night!
